(( this is gonna be a v laidback thread in terms of events since I haven’t written rp posts in a while, so short responses are a-okay!! they’re always a-okay in my book actually ))
As of late, occultatum village has been rather quiet and peaceful, almost in a serene sort of way. The nights are less bustling and more relaxing, and the mornings seem to drag on longer, with almost little intent on anyone’s part to get busy immediatelyâ€â€Amaya herself is a perpetrator to this, surprisingly enough. In all reality, she’s usually the one doing the work, but not at this moment, no.
Why, one may ask? Outside, the jet black canvas of the night sky is dotted with sparkling hues of stars, giving littleâ€â€but also plentifulâ€â€light to the world. Crickets hum their little songs as the black panther pads her way through the foliage and shrubbery, a crumpled mouse dangling from her jaws. Using the light pouring from the black and blue sky to guide her, Amaya makes her way towards her ideal spot in the entire territory: a well-flourished field of purple flowers.
Settling down in the middle of the purplish patch, the panther releases a small form of a sigh, her ears falling just a tad limply as she sets the mouse down. (The air is still humid and warm, but remarkably nicer than the one she’s experienced during the daytime.) Instead of feasting on her catch, however, Amaya finds her hues flickering up towards the night sky; the stars don’t respond to her muffled greeting, they only continue to sparkle as they always do.
Yes, it really has been peaceful as of late.
