[align=center][div style="width:400px;line-height:0.9;text-align:justify;font-size:9pt;"]it was no secret that emmor loved canned beans- specifically Bush's canned beans. he always seemed to have a can on him- had them for every meal, kept a can in his pocket, had a spare in his room. he must have a bunch of beans stockpiled somewhere, because it was pretty ridiculous. he would climb out his room window and free-climb the side of the lodge to have his lunch on the roof, and if anyone watched some, he would kindly offer them a bite.

currently, he was once again up on the roof, shovelling large spoonfuls of beans into his mouth, his mask lifted to the tip of his nose so he could actually reach his mouth. he licked his lips for a moment and stared into the distance for a long moment before looking to the can of beans. "that was.. a bad bite.." he mumbled to himself and scrunched his nose.

She had been returning from checking on the rabbit hutch, when she saw someone who had become familiar from a mask kicking his legs about on the roof. "Ey! Ye best get down from there before ye fall and break yer spine." She would shout up, brows furrowed down in concern and forehead wrinkling as her intense brown eyes stared up at him. Flintlock didn't have medical supplies to waste on someone being a bampot eating beans on the roof, as far as she was concern. So she crossed her arms over her chest, staring expectantly for him to get down.

He always seems anxious and rational to anyone who meets him, always thinking ahead about the danger in things and the possibility of getting hurt. But what a lot of people don't know about him is that he's just as stupid as any teenager his age, and often times he likes to do dumb shit when no one is looking and judging him, too. One of the things he actually enjoyed doing the most as a child was jumping off his own roof and trying to parkour and do the cool roll that he'd seen in comics and movies and whatnot, back when he'd been able to actually see. He honestly misses jumping off roofs, as dumb as that sounds. Now because he's blind he's pretty much confined to the boring old floor, because he can't gauge distance or anything. But, hey, he can still be proud of other people sitting on the roof, whether they're doing that for parkour rolling or something as simple as easing some beans. As he approaches to join Samsa and Greer, listening only briefly to what they say, Benjamin chuckles quietly under his breath, sticking his hands in his pockets and leaning back on one hip. "Is someone on the roof or something?" the Ace asks quietly, and he turns his sightless eyes upward, a puff of breath leaving his lips in a cloud of white. "What are you doing up there? Are you planning on jumping?" he then calls, tilting his head slightly to the side, though what he's referencing is certainly not suicide. He's also sure that this person isn't a child, because the responses from the others are too calm for that. Must just be some adult that they're questioning for being idiotic. Not that he thinks he's idiotic himself, considering Benjamin continues cheerily, "I used to jump off roofs. It's fun, sometimes. When you don't break anything, that is."
