which direction should i take sam in??

i've got a couple of ideas im toying with
both seperate in physical and mental ways

1: captured by someone in badlands, mentally goes south and becomes distant overall
2: revisits memories of hitch {backstoryyyy :^)}, mentally goes south but becomes much more tied in with people in the lodge b/c support seeker
3: somethin happy idfk
4: starts a rivalry with someone (IM OPEN FOR PLOTTING ON THIS ONE), mentally grows distant {from some people} but the state is stable
5: starts hating everyone b/c.. idk why, paranoia?, mentally grows distant with everyone (spooky angsty teen that never leaves her room, maybe smoking) state is ok-ish

if you have ideas please help me
