REDEVELOPING THE LONER LANDS

Currently, we are in the process of redeveloping the Loner Lands so that it is a more accessible place to write in! We will be expanding the Loner Lands territory, developing more expansive territories to inspire writers and create more small-scale, casual groups to write in without any activity expectations!

This is where you guys come in: we would love to hear concepts for Loner Lands territories and/or small-scale groups. What would you like to see in the newly redeveloped Loner Lands?

i have had some ideas and have shared them in a couple places, but i know i won’t be able to dedicate the time to them to effectively implement them, so i figured i could throw up my concepts here and if people want to take that on, they’re more than welcome.

so, here are a couple i have

• a group of extreme preppers who just went into their bunkers around the time of the blackout. could be a group who stockpiled their supplies together and are now starting to run out of things and venturing into the world. i think this could make some cool older characters and even some why are like second gen and literally experiencing the world for the first time.
  
• a nomadic group, but on the seas? they have a couple sailboats and have made their home on them. they have some little settlements along the coast, but generally spend a lot of their time on the boats. maybe even have a pirate vibe to them?

i will of course share more if i come up with them!

my final idea currently is one i would be involved in, but a group of merchants who run a flea market of sorts in the loner lands. they sell crafted goods and weapons and supplies, anything within the rules of tnw. we’re wanting to redo the shop and with this, we’d bring the shop in to have an in character place. other people who take part in this group would have to be active members in tnw who are aware and respect the guidelines of the main game since we’d be working with the shop. also, they’d work with staff sometimes with things dealing with tnw. this one does depend on interest as well, but yeah!
