She was staring openly, unabashedly, with something between jealousy and bitterness, at the coffee cup. Sel was supposed to be allowed one cup per day, but she'd been doing her best to refrain. With her history, the less potentially harmful stuff she dumped into her body, the more likely she'd have a healthy baby.
The desire for a cup of coffee was nothing, however, to the ever present
need for a cigarette. In idle moments it was all she could think about, and even in ones where she was meant to be focusing. It made her hands shake, sometimes, especially when she thought how easy it would be to slip one out of her pocket. She'd ended up giving them all to Mateo so he could keep it away from her.
Maybe a coffee would help, even just for a bit. Surely it couldn't hurt, right?
"Mitch," fuck, did her voice really have to sound like that? Dry and desperate?
"Any chance you could get me a cup at the end?" Or now. Now would be good too, but he was the Lord of Los Santos. He shouldn't miss the meeting just because she was struggling to cope.
End. End. End of the meeting. Focus. She shook her head and faced the people he'd gathered.
"Not much happened this past couple'a weeks, the Badlands invited us to a haunted house which you can go have fun at. Also, Los Santos will be holding a Halloween party this week, and running a costume contest, to keep with the whole Halloween thing that's been going on. So be sure to have your costumes ready!" She flashed a bright smile, then in the moment it took her to turn to Mitch, it was like a light switch had been flipped.
"Coffee." Her tone invited nothing except the beverage she demanded.

— Sel is a very bold, competitive and stubborn person, with a wild side that is shown frequently as well as flirtatious tendencies. She is easily bored and is always on the lookout for adventure, with a spark of curiosity that she hopes will lead to what she seeks: adventure and romance. She seems to not be a very serious person and would rather have fun than be productive, and failing entertainment she can be quite productive and get quite a bit done. She's loud and lacks discipline. While Sel is irresponsible (and oddly bossy) and wild, she is very family-oriented and loves her family dearly. She is usually a cheerful, friendly person but she definitely has a passion for the weird, dark and creepy. She is somewhat vain and egotistical. She has her secrets and one of them is her intelligence and ability to collect information; most dismiss her as a dumb party girl (or something like that) and that's part of her cover, she has her fair share of sins and has to have a way of hiding them, and because she is a good liar and good actress, she succeeds.
