They knew all of the tasks that Salem had assigned or rather, given out, so the fact that Tinny wasn't weird to Cat. Nothing to question aside from why the fuck he would have picked that task. But then he'd brought entertainment. "Don't drop the book in the water." Obviously; no doubt he already knew not to do that, but Cat lived to be unhelpful but not wrong.

⇥ Catalyst is 6'2" tall; they possess a lean and muscular body, one that has a variety of old scars adorning it. One of the easiest to notice is one that stretches down their right cheek. While not a scar, one very notable marking on their chest is the "BL" brand. They have two piercings, one in their tongue and the other in the cartilage of their left ear. They typically dress in dark colors (favoring jackets with some sort of writing on the back), and their hair is black. They're not all dark, however, as they have pale blue eyes that peer out from beneath medium-sized eyebrows.

They can be manipulative, and will often encourage people to make bad decisions. — catalyst made their way towards tinny, who was standing in the creek. seriously, of all chores salem could’ve come up with, and he had decided to make this one of them? he sauntered over, hands in his pockets and seeming mildly unimpressed (because he was). tinny was telling catalyst how nice the water was, suggesting they jump in, too. “don’t you know cats don’t like water?” … what? everybody else had made a goddamn cat joke - it was addy’s turn.

he glanced over towards the leader and offered a shrug at the response. “can’t blame them, though.” swimming around in water was so goddamn boring. only really worth it if it was hotter than hell outside.

Did he seriously want them to join him? Nah, nah, they were good standing right exactly where they were. "I'll pass. Wouldn't wanna splash your book by jumping in." Or come anywhere near water. They'd accept that shit when they needed to bathe, not just for the fuck of it. And there was Addy... goddamnit that was a good one.
