so i wanted to make a character that had a BROKEN, just for show and intimidation purposes rocket launcher. it’d be beyond repair, the trigger would be broken off, there would be no battery back and no possible chance of it EVER working, and just be used as a way to scare others.

As long as they would have reasonably been able to find it and have the realistic trouble transporting it, you're able to do this.
