the rattling of a used can could be heard from one of the hallways in the hotel. the person kicking it not cringing at the noise it made only kicking it harder and further away from them every time they had to. this was just one of the ways they kept themselves entertained besides the once in a while fix and a couple of arguments here and there with their members.

It hasn't been long since the day they joined but it did felt like months for them. they've learned that there wasn't much to do and if there was something it was either too messy for them or too boring. it was the down side of all this. they craved adventure and trouble. something that could get their blood pumping, breath accelerated, and adrenaline going.

it was probably why they didn't stop kicking the empty can. knowing that someone would get annoyed and come to them demanding for them to stop all the ruckus. and it was probably why they let out those two words when someone did turn up. their voice holding that cockiness a lot hated. "make me." they drawl out a grin plastered on their face.

Although, in the end, there was always one reason that most chose to stay and that was the connection everyone made with each other. The familial bond that most were able to create with individuals who not only sympathized with them but understood why they were the way they were and did not want them to change. However, despite this she would not lie and say that they didn't have their fair share of problems—boredom, an ever growing occurrence in the last couple of months, had led to a lot more violence and pent up aggression that the residents were quick to take out on each other. It seemed like everyone's senses were on overload as they waited for something—anything—to do outside of simply, well, kicking a tin can to entertain themselves. She supposed it wasn't the weirdest thing she had seen in Los Santos but, well, it was surely up there somewhere right beside that one time she walked in on one of the residents fucking a—no, never mind, she didn't want to finish that statement. The lord let out a small shiver, shaking her head to clear her mind as she followed the sound of metal through the hallways; she wasn't exactly sure who was making the noise but it wasn't hard to place nor was she surprised to see that the culprit was the new arrival Theo.

Fights—although discouraged—were not uncommon in the hotel; hell, in her first couple of days in charge alone she had had to break up more fights than she could count. It was tiring and it quickly became aggravating and she swore if one more goddamn person tried to sock her she was going to lose a fucking gasket. Usually the older members knew to keep things quiet, to settle things like adults but the new arrivals? Most were pent up with frustration, of desire for adventure that did not immediately come to them and Hóngmín was not surprised to see the wild look in Theo's eyes as they glared down another new member; at least she'd be able to take out two birds with one stone, right? She quickly moved forward, a frown sliding onto her face as she tried to get closer before anything escalated into uncontrollable levels and the little woman was forced to hunt down her counterpart to deal with the two. Which, would probably end badly for both of them.

"Alright, you're both pretty now back it up." She hissed, moving forward to press herself between the two—her brown eyes darted to the stranger first, glaring hard before shoving against his chest to push him back from Theo. "We're adults, if you want to settle things you can talk it out—fists shouldn't be used against other residents of this hotel? Do I make myself clear?"
