Funnily enough, warrior and apprentice ceremonies hadn't been one of the things he had been thinking about when he had first become leader after Fogstar's death. However, they were one of the happier parts of him becoming leader, since he got to see the happiness on kits' and apprentices' faces as they were elevated a rank. Now, he got to see that happiness for the first time of many. Leaping utop the high rock that could be seen from around the whole camp, he yowled firmly, "All cats old enough to hunt, please gather around for a special occasion!" As everyone started to gather around, his calm and warm eyes flickered around before they found the feline they were looking for: Sparrowpaw. Smiling, he gave the male a small nod before taking a deep breath.
He then cleared his throat, saying proudly, "I've gathered you all here so that we can celebrate an apprentice becoming a proud warrior that will serve our clan well. Sparrowpaw, can you please step up here?" Once the apprentice came up, he smiled and said, dipping his head a bit, "Now then... I, Stonestar, leader of Thunderclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn." He then focused his proud and determined look on Sparrowpaw, saying loudly so that everyone could hear, "Sparrowpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your clan, even at the cost of your life?"
