The full moon was high in the sky, and Stonestar could feel his heart beating heavily in his fluffy chest as he thought about his first gathering as the leader of Thunderclan. He would have to put on a good face for his clan, and make sure that nobody would want to mess with them.
Clearing his throat, he leaped onto the high rock in the middle of camp and yowled to grab everyone's attention before speaking, "Tonight is the first full moon since Fogstar's death, and it is time for the gathering of the clans. Despite Fogstar's unfortunate death, we are still very strong, and we will show that at this gathering. Now, everyone who is allowed to, please follow me to the gathering." He then jumped down, his thick blue pelt an easy target to follow as he pushed through the tunnel out of camp.
