An alliance. It was an interesting thing to consider, to think deeply about. Would his clan approve? He'd have to call a meeting and find out. Would Hollowstar's clan approve? He could only guess. Tigerstar didn't know much about WindClan's warriors, but from border patrols, he knew there were a few that had a bit of a sour side when it came to meeting cats from other clans, much less speaking with them. Tigerstar himself was quite friendly toward outsiders, even when they were his enemies. It was a stark contrast to some of the loyal warriors he knew. As the pair neared the river that served as the border between RiverClan and WindClan, the powerful leader slowed his pace, thickly furred earthen laced tail curling upward through the heated, humid atmosphere. Burning eyes lingered upon the sun-kissed, sparkling water that stretched out before them, the crest of waves reflecting the blue of the bright sky. "Well here we are." He spoke out with a hum. "The river sure looks inviting! Like...like a beetle! Wait, nevermind, those aren't inviting at all. They're hard and crunchy though. What was I thinking? Hmm, inviting, inviting, oh! The smell of a lily. That's inviting, don't ya think?" He questioned Hollowstar with a gentle smile.

[align=center][div style="font-family: arial; font-size: 14px; width: 450px; line-height: 100%; color: black; margin-top: 10px"][justify]The alliance was not only weighing on Tigerstar's mind, unfortunately. Hollow's head spun- she had not expected to get that far with the Riverclanners, and now the idea of what came next was coming to light. Events, shared food perhaps? That much was left to be discussed with the other leader, as well as the rest of her clan once she returned. However, for now, she would enjoy what it felt like to be across the border, the oxymoronic freedom and constriction that came with it. "I never actually learned how to swim, so the water seems a little more like the smell of a badger to me, Tigerstar." Scary, unwelcome, something she wasn't willing to face on her own. "Although I can see how it would seem like a flower for you- you must be an excellent swimmer, living here all your life."

Tigerstar was already wondering what WindClan and RiverClan could do together, a shared event, perhaps, something fun, like a sparring competition? Gentle of course, no claws, no harm done, that was how those things worked, wasn't it? But he supposed it wouldn't do well to get attached to Hollowstar and her clan. After all, RiverClan was his primary concern, and their safety went beyond any friendship with a fellow leader. The alliance would be brief, if he could help it, no sense in stirring hostilities with the rest of the forest, although he supposed he had already poked the ThunderClan nest with a stick, after his last threatening display on their border. Drama, he thought to himself with amusement. He had half a mind to lead a patrol to sunningrocks as soon as he got back to camp as the thought of the other clan crossed his mind again, but he knew it wasn't necessary. RiverClan didn't need the rocks, and he didn't want to endanger his clan-mates for little reason.

"Never learned how to swim?" He brought his mind back to the present, tail tip curling through the air. "Then how'd ya get across the river to come see me? Oh, the twoleg bridge?" That was alright, he supposed, although the bridge went right over the gorge. A dangerous thing for any cat to cross, and yet RiverClan did it every full moon to reach fourtrees. The roar of the falls was something he had long since grown used to. One tattered ear twitched as the WindClan leader carried on with her words. "Oh yes, I'm a great swimmer." He admitted brightly, a small smile crossing his face. "I suppose this means you'll be wantin' my help to get back across to the moor." That was okay, he could manage that with relative ease.
