Tigerscar was born and raised in RiverClan. Throughout his youth, he was most often associated with his strange behavior, his tendency to act younger than his actual age, and his habit of morbid teasing and violent threats. As a kitten, he was once caught carving the eyes out of frogs for a collection, having been fascinated with the way they reflected the sky like glass. Tigerkit was discovered when the collection began to rot and made the camp smell foul. Because of his behavior, his apprentice ceremony was delayed.
As an apprentice, he continued on with his strange behavior, often being caught dancing, and speaking, even holding full conversations with, insects, prey, and plants. Carrying on with kithood were his problems with over-sensitive hearing and eyes, which caused public meltdowns, resulting in self destructive behaviors, such as tail chewing. Tigerscar also learned slower than the rest of the apprentices, and occasionally stuttered and tumbled over his words. Frostpaw, who later became Frostbite, helped him learn due to his struggles. Despite this, he was known for his massive size, uncanny strength, and his unusually long claws. Near the end of his apprenticeship he had mastered combat, he could, quite easily, win some spars with other apprentices despite how much longer it took for him to learn combat skills. Tigerpaw was eventually made a warrior after helping a small group of cats chase off a badger. The badger itself delivered a devastating blow to Tigerpaw's face, resulting in gruesome scars. After showing courage and loyalty, he received his official warrior name, Tigerscar.
Problems persisted into warrior-ship. While he was known for his loyalty and his love for his clan, along with his kindness toward kits, the morbid threats and teases continued, along with countless pranks, and childish behavior despite his age. He was also known for his cruelty in raids. Meltdowns were still an occasional thing, particularly since Tigerscar developed an insensitive aversion to chewing noises, which angered him greatly and resulted in more than one confrontation with other warriors. Still, for the most part, despite his explosive mood, the warrior remained one of the more respected of RiverClanners given his strength and skill in battle. Eventually, though no cat is quite sure how, Tigerscar ascended to the deputy position, but his reign was short lived, and he soon found himself leader of RiverClan. His reign, while peaceful, didn't last long, however, as the stress of leadership too it's toll, Tigerstar returned to the life of a warrior by stepping down.
