he hummed. "you did miss one think, though." he stated and pointed to the lips. "she was being kissed. so i believe that maybe the killer was getting her guard down by.. heating things up, and the claws on the cat were just a precaution. afterwards, the cat came along, agrivated over something, perhaps it was hungry.. and started to scratch her to get her attention, before beginning to meow, which alerted the people who found her."
