This announcement is here to let people know that unofficial groups in TNW are now eligible to receive backboards, providing they meet some criteria: they must have an established guide and at least three or four interested people, including the leader(s), though IC threads with three to four people in them can work in place of interest checks (which can be made in the Helping Hub). Once a board is provided, they're given a month's grace period to build activity and a member base; if they're struggling, but there are attempts to revive it, they're given a notice after two weeks of inactivity. Then, if things remain stagnant, the board is removed.
This isn't an alternative to the fourth frontboard that's been mentioned - that's still in the works, and is completely separate to this announcement. This is mostly a matter of organisation and allowing unofficial groups to flourish. To actually get the boards up, we will need a link to the guide and the interest check.
EDIT: To clarify, the "three or four interested people" must be people that intend on posting and remaining active in the group  while posting that someone would love to see this group exist is wonderful, it does not give the group the foundation for activity that we require.
