It had been about a week later. Marcus was healing quickly and was now able to get up and go about doing things. They didn’t let him back on jobs yet, at least not ones that required him to go out and about in town.

wrench seemed quite happy taking care of marcus and helping him around and such, not really leaving his side just in case. he was sat with him on the couch, working on some code.

Marcus didn’t seem to mind the extra time with Wrench either. He was glad to be by him. He wasn’t too happy that Wrench was constantly worrying over him, but at least Wrench seemed better the last two days.

He was sikentky watching him work for a while. He smiled. “What are you working on?” He asked

he hummed. “trying to hack into a bank.” he explained.

He blinked. “Oh? And why’s that?” He asked, watching him

he hummed. “because your hospital bill cake in and you don’t have that much in your pocket, let alone your bank account.. so i’m taking from some corporate higher ups.”

He bkinked. “Oh. Well...Thanks buddy. But I could have paid my own bills. That isn’t supposed to be pushed onto you.” He’s aid

he hummed. “i wanna help, though.”

Marcus sighed, glancing him over. “Wrench, You’ve done more then enough this past week. You’ve been helping.” He said
