ALL THE WAY TO YOU / private - dannychan - 11-07-2017
normally, carl wasn't this wreck less, but today, he had two very wreck less people out with him. daryl dixon, and diego gallego (he laughed every time the nickname and name were used together). diego, though he wasn't loud- neither was daryl, don't get him wrong- was just careless, and did things even when it was advised against.. like setting fire to an ant hill or kicking down the door to a huge office building. currently, they were up on the roof of a one story building, carl stood on the edge, balancing as he walked along it and listened to diego singing (horribly) a spanish version of eye of the tiger. carl was used to the random things diego did as this point, and diego was used to carl's normal stubborn attitude.
diego, jumping up onto the ledge, he whistled. "you know, never thought i'd get to see washington." he said, looking down at the mostly emily streets. "what about you, carl?" he asked and the other male looked at him before rolling his eyes. diego chuckled softly and paused. "hey- hey! people!" he said, grabbing his tire iron and smirking. "can i?" he asked daryl, smirking.
down below was murphy, walking with ten and the rest of the group. for once, murphy was silent.

Daryl didn’t mind having the two with. He thought of Carl as a son. He was pretty much the only family Carl had left ever since they were driven out by Negan and he killed Rick. They were currently on the rooftop. Daryl frowned when he heard Diego. He moved over, peering down.

diego looked at daryl before humming. "fuck it." he said and jumped down, landing on his feet and bending his legs before jumping back up. he started towards the group of survivors, hands up. "hey! hola!" he said and waved his free hand. all of them instantly pointed weapons at him and he coughed. "hey, i'm clean, don't uh.. don't murder me please. my buddies and i need some help? we're out of food and almost out of water." diego said cooley. he had always had a way with people. the african american woman looked over him and looked at ten. "go search him.@

Ten had been with the group, glancing around. He froze, quickly raising a gun towards Diego. He moved over to Diego, patting him down. He glanced over, spotting Daryl moving over as well. He quickly rose his gun, aiming it at Daryl. “Stop.†Ten said. Daryl glanced at Ten, stopping in his tracks.
“Calm down kiddo we’re not going to harm you unless you give us a reason.†He said

carl quickly followed, looking at them. diego hummed and lowered his hands. "alright. i'm diego, that's carl, and then daryl." he pat their shoulders, whistling lowly. murphy clapped his hands together. "i knew you looks familiar! you look exactly like diego from that kids show!" he said and diego sighed. "god damn it." he said. warren looked at murphy before sighing. "well uh.. i'm lieutenant roberta waren, that lieutenant lily, then that's doc, murphy, and ten thousand, but we call him ten." she introduced and diego nodded, moving to shake everyone's hands with a slight smile. carl didn't get close, just stayed near daryl.

warren sighed. "where are you three headed?" she asked. diego looked at daryl. "away from virginia." carl said and looked down, his hair in his face as always. warren nodded. "well.. welcome to our rag tag team. we're headed to anywhere we can." she said and diego hummed. "great. thanks, lieutenant."

carl looked at daryl. "daryl, maybe we should.. i mean.. we don't have any food or a destination and.. home was.." he looked down, shifting from foot to foot. diego looked at carl and moved over, wrapping his arm around the younger males shoulders and smiling. "we're going." he said and looked at daryl.
