BUILD A LEGO HOUSE | open ; building huts - merged stuff - 09-01-2017

leave this here when the days are cold and the cards all fold margaux knew that a lot of npcs and others had lost their homes in the fire, so she decided that this would be a good idea. she had gathered as much wood planks, had traded with passing groups, and even gathered things such as pillows and blankets from old, abandoned buildings that no one was using and were too rickety to stay in, and put each type of item in a different pile. "everyone! get over here!" she yelled. "we are going to be building huts for the people that lost theirs in the fire! if you're injured, try your hardest, but if you aren't, you better get your assed to work!!" by now, they should know it wasn't a good idea to go against her orders.

Re: BUILD A LEGO HOUSE | open ; building huts - DYLAN, - 09-03-2017

[align=center][div style="borderwidth=0px; width: 420px; color: black; font-size: 9pt; line-height:115%; text-align: justify; margin-top: 5px"]— Building a hut for himself was his top priority, no matter how selfless and considerate he could be. He had been homeless for a good week or two now, drifting in and out of the infirmary as an excuse to sleep under a roof. In reality, finding somewhere to stay should be an easy job, but he was picky and everywhere appeared too dangerous or too big, small, dark or too light. For now a flimsy sleeping bag in the corner of the infirmary was fine by him.

The Councilman approached the injured woman with slow steps, his sneakers laces stumbling after his long legs. He didn't know were to start - he had never built something as complex as a hut before. "Hey, pass me that hammer, would you?" Dylan asked politely, pointing to the toolbox sitting on the ground near Margaux's feet. Finding a tool was always a good start.

Charlie didn't see why the group didn't just move entirely. The houses were gone, the resources were gone... why bother sticking around? And by building huts, even more supplies would be wasted. Was it too much of a hassle to simply move into a building in the city? They'd probably provide more reliable shelter as well. But, if that's what Margaux was doing, then he'd might as well get off his ass and help. Besides, if she tried to do this herself, then she'd probably get hurt.

He had a vague idea on how to build something, but he was no architect by any means, so he'd have to use his common knowldge and wing it. Charlie picked up a few planks of wood and balanced them on his shoulder before heading to an empty plot to get started.
