Six likewise was wandering around the lodge - a habit she did when she felt restless and simply had to walk around, though she missed the days when she could've done so with music in her ears - in her arms the mottled tortie was curled up, Chief's big Amber eyes gazing around the lodge in interest while he purred contentedly in her embrace.

Six smiled slightly when the cat mewed - patting his small head with one gloved hand, consequently she didn't quite look where she was going and ended up bumping into someone, she stumbled back a little, looking up apologetically - she'd wring her hands if they weren't occupied - and stammered slightly [b]"ah, sorry".

oh good he wasn't mad, Six was a bit relieved at that and she smiled slightly, petting chief's tiny head as the kitten mewed up at the taller stranger - who was this? Another stranger to protect strange big sister from? - or so was probably the kitten's thoughts, strangely overprotective for such a lil kitten.

Six blinked at the question before nodding and shifting the kitten in her arms for him to pet [b]"ah, sure - his name's chief" she stated and stammered a little before adding "ah, my name's Six" she was pretty sure she'd seen the man around but had never really talked to him - which considering both of the wore masks and probably odder attire than most here, you'd think they might've by now.

Much like the sudden increase in number names there were what three mask wearing people in the lodge now? They really should start a club.

Chief eyed the hand warily with a slight sniff before seemingly deeming it acceptable for the large man to scratch his chin if the purring was anything to go by - Six smiled in spite of herself looking up from the cat to meet reaper face to mask.

She didn't mind the mask to be truthful - considering she herself wore one and Jack also had his own, she was quite used to it. Still she nodded at the introduction [b]"it's nice to meet you" she smiled, before looking back down at the kitten.

"I ah, a group I ran into was less than friendly - they uh had me locked up for a bit but I got out - and I rescued this lil guy, they were gonna eat him I think" she winced at the memory - the outside world was less than kind sometimes, poor chief had been a malnourished thing but the group was clearly very far gone - they looked ragged and smelled awful when they'd gotten the drop on her, likely they were desperate enough to eat anything.

She didn't want to think that, that might have been why she'd been locked up with Chief.

Indeed it had been a feat to get away with the cat - but the group were half mad and higher faculties weren't exactly the sharpest, so it's been more a matter of outwitting and outrunning them, considering she was younger and fitter than most of them she had done alright.

Six smiled slightly with a nod [b]"mm, ever since then he's always trying to protect me" she chuckled a little, a small quiet sound before elaborating "he tried to defend me from Hux's cat the other day, I think he thought they were enemies" she shrugged, smiling slightly at the memory - it had sorted itself out quickly considering the kitten and cat had ended up playing about together.

She 'hmmed' slightly again with a tilt of her head "cats are cool" she agreed - ah, they'd had pet cats back when she was with her family, but they were gone now just like everything from then.
