Oswald was currently at the house, working on some papers down in the kitchen. Now that he was mayor, he had loads of paperwork to do as well meetings. Honestly, it was exhausting. But he didnt regret it.
He sighed, glancing at the time. It was already 10. Edward had gone out on a date with Isabella last night. He hadn't been home yet. He had expected him to be bac earlier. He must be having a good time. Sure, he was jealous. But Edward seemed so happy now. And that was enough for him no matter what thoughts he got.

when ed did arrive him, he didn't say a single word, just went right past oswald, and up the stairs nervously. he was smudged in dirt and had a few cuts and calluses on his palms.

Oswald glanced up when he heard footsteps. He was greeted with the sight of Edward. He frowned though. He looked like shit, honestly. What the hell had happened to him? He watched as Edward moved past and upstairs. He blinked. He hesitated before getting up and moving up the stairs slowly. He then stopped by his room.
