boom, like that | OPEN - ashen - 08-01-2017 you're the reason why i'm travelling on don't think twice, it's all right Roque wanted to help. He hated being useless, or having nothing to do, even if he wasn't needed. Right now, however--he was still just so exhausted, physically and emotionally, it took too much effort even to get out of bed. He'd done so and was now sitting on an old crate, resting his head in his hands--trying not to just drift off. God. He was alone here--that was the scariest bit. He could handle it, he knew that--but he knew no one. He'd talk to no one. And all he wanted to do was cook. Or clean. That would help him setle, but for now he didn't even know the division of labor. How did it work? Maybe he'd only ever need to cook for himself. That would be disappointing. Maybe they had plenty of those culinarily minded. Maybe he wasn't needed at all. He'd just...sit here. And rest. For a while. Re: boom, like that | OPEN - Advay. - 08-04-2017 [align=center][size=8pt]Nearby, Advay was carrying boxes back and forth. At first it was only gently moving them all to one shelf, then he'd walked away. Soon after, however, he came back with his arms full of boxes, and each dog carrying a bag full of small items. He never wanted to ask for help, honestly. He didn't like people, and he had his dogs. He was fine. He could handle it. But the boxes were way heavier than he coudl handle, and with shaking arms, he eventually lost one, and it came tumbling down, spilling out what appeared to be cosmetic items and hygienic things like toothbrushes, hair brushes, and hair sprays. "S-shit," he sputtered, trying to look for a way to set the other boxes down without dropping them a well. He sighed, spotting Roque. "U-um," he murmured ,"H-he-hey ca-can you he-help me-me out?" He wouldn't look at him, but he was kind of faced in his direction, looking ashamed at asking. He felt useless because he wasn't exactly... Well... Serving someone. He didn't have a master or a mistress anymore, which was bothersome and strange. He'd sort of adopted Wolfbite as his master, but then again, he didn't treat him like his old master had - he missed his old master dearly. Though he'd hit him on far more than one occasion, and he'd spit words filled with poison at him after his son had blamed his wrongdoings on the servant, he had still always adored being around him; perhaps it was some form of Stockholm syndrome, though he'd never thought of it being that way. He didn't realize his adoration for the man was wrong and unhealthy. He just... Had gotten used to being treated like shit. He wanted to be treated like shit. But he couldn't find anyone who would do that. Glancing around himself, he looked for someone he didn't know very well - he was sort of looking for someone to become his new master or mistress, but in the back of his mind. He spotted Advay - he was more like him in terms of being very... Shy. And stuttery. He bit his lip, glancing a little to the left, and it was then that he spotted Roque, who was someone he didn't exactly know very well. Brightening slightly, the man made his way over to him, jumping a little as Advay dropped a box, then asked for help. Talking to Roque was put on hold - he had to try and help Advay, no matter how weak he was. [b]"Um, I can? Is that okay?" he asked from his place next to Roque, taking a step or two forward, looking uncertain. "Unless you want... Him to?" He glanced toward Roque - he did look stronger than him. After all, everyone was stronger than him. Re: boom, like that | OPEN - Advay. - 08-04-2017 [align=center][size=9pt]"Oh," he gasped, looking around the boxes he now held to see Cecil. "U-uh," he stammered, "Y-yeah, a-actually, I guess, um..." He looked do his dogs, who had put down their little bags. "I-I need someone to p-pick that up, too..." he motioned awkwardly with his foot, his arms now shaking. "S-some of these a-are heavy but th-the top one ha-has only papers a-and toilet sup-supplies if yo-you can reach it," he added, his boxes still two high. He was a good six foot a few inches, he was sure Cecil could reach but if he was more comfortable grabbing the stuff on the floor, he was okay with that. The heaviest one he had was on the bottom, filled with shampoo and ungodly amounts of hair gel and other heavy, liquid or gel formed things. While that was easy for most, Advay was skinnier than he looked under all of his clothes. Re: boom, like that | OPEN - ashen - 08-05-2017 you're the reason why i'm travelling on don't think twice, it's all right Roque had jumped up, a bit startled by the man. Wasn't that the dog guy--yes. He'd helped him into the group. Roque was quite ready to help, but he hesitated as the other young man approached, also offering his services. The cook still stood, giving a glance at the boxes. Roque wasn't exactly a pillar of strength, but he could lend a hand. He was built small, short and with a slender skeleton; he knew how to use his legs to lift, though his upper body was certainly lacking in strength. Without speaking, he moved towards Advay, quirking a brow slightly. "...I can take some of those boxes if you can set them down." He was fairly below six feet--and while he wasn't sure he couldn't get them, he was also not sure just how heavy they were. He didn't want to end up falling because he wasn't prepared. Re: boom, like that | OPEN - Advay. - 08-05-2017 [align=center][size=8pt]Advay gave a nervous grunt, looking at the boxes and giving a kind of sigh. "I-I'm af-afraid I might drop them," he said towards Roque, though he appeared to try. Advay himself wasn't at all strong either, and despite trying his best, he ended up setting the boxes down and nearly falling on top of them, off balance. They hit the ground with a crack, and Advay winced. Giving a groan, he rubbed his arms, feeling them ache and burn. He looked over at Roque, "Could you he-he-help me u-um, put th-this stuff away?" He awkwardly stood, feeling a bit drained. Being the only trade manager was hard work. He knew a lot about it but he had underlings when he'd been back with Moksha's factory. |
