If Gray could see the smudges on Johannes' mouth from where he stood in the back of the room, there was no doubt he'd be grinning. But the youth couldn't see it, so he merely watched and listened with his arms crossed. There was going to be a trading expedition down to St Peters - alright, he might tag along for that - and the mineshaft was going to need work. Joh was gonna be forming a council - cool, not really something he cared about. If age and experience were what Johannes was looking for in a consul, Gray would be the last name on the list. No promotions or demotions, so nothing to be exited or saddened by there. They were still low on supplies, but they'd survive. "Noted." The teen muttered.

'Noted sir." He said, not quite paying full attention. He clicked his heels half heartedly, and offered half a salute. God he sort of just wanted to leave now... but he sort of had a job to do. Make sure Arlo didn't get himself killed... though he supposed he'd failed it already, most of St Peters having think he'd died or vanished, and under Drew's watch. Whoops.

"All right, listen up." He wasn't in a good mood. Luckily, it was not the fault of anyone here--except maybe Gray, since the dictator still had pink smudges all over his goddamn mouth, thanks to that marker-- but he wasn't in the mood to mince words or procrastinate. This whole business with Katja was stressful, sure, but he could handle it. He had to. There was too much to do here. He wasn't feeling completely like himself lately, but that was...fine. He felt less nervous, for one thing--which was good.
"Last week, I mentioned trading with St. Peters, under their new legislator. We will be organizing an expedition down there, and I don't care who comes along, but we need at least three people. If any of your dogs are--actually trained, having one along would be preferable. There have been more bandits lately." He glanced down, perfunctorily, at his notes, but his voice, cold and plain, didn't stammer. "We cleared out the old mineshaft's entrance a few months ago. That's good, but it's been sitting stagnant. We're all going to work on making sure the interior is stable, block off the tunnel where it gets dangerous, and clean it up--we're going to use it to keep a supply in case this place burns to the ground." He knew there was some risk involved in elaborating. A spy from the Badlands could easily use this to their advantage, but he needed their group to know his plans--they could take care of any malice.

"Lastly, I realize I'm not the most practiced here, nor the eldest. Which is why I'm going to reinstate a....council, of sorts. Not now. I need to know who here can actually provide counsel. As always, your feedback is...appreciated." He gave a small smile, though it wasn't exactly encouraging. "No promotions or demotions today. You're all doing fine. Just keep it up. We're low on our fresh supplies, we won't starve, but this trading expedition is going to happen soon. We need to start growing more, and St. Peters should have what we need to do that."

First meeting, least with the new group. She should write this shit down or something; mark it on a calendar. Sadly she had no idea what day it was, so she couldn't exactly do that.

The woman stood in the middle of the crowd, but still had to lean on her tiptoes to actually see. She could go trading with the group to St. Peters, but she'd have to see if any invitation was extended to her. She couldn't really blame them if they didn't want her tagging along since she'd only gotten her a few days ago.

"Got it." Narin said, her voice bold and clear. She was used to more militaristic standards, so the idea of not shouting out her understanding was foreign and wrong to her.
