• leaders will be sent a pm warning (not an official warning) after one week of inactivity (meaning no ic or ooc posts AS leader, posts from main that aren’t group business don’t count)
  
• if the inactivity persists for another week after the warning, the leader will be DEMOTED.
  
• if there is a deputy in line for the position, they will take leadership.
  
• if not, staff will take over temporarily for any plot necessities while holding hp tryouts.
  
• if there is more than one leader and only one is inactive, it is up to their co-leader, not staff, to handle the situation. they may demote whenever they so choose; staff will only step in if it's clear that the one leader cannot handle the clan on their own and need an active co-leader.
  
• ALL inactivity rules are in flux and there are other factors than simply just 'no posts' for a week. for example only posting meetings and nothing else is not considered active, and we sometimes have to take things on a case by case basis depending on the leader's specific actions and the clans activity.
  

note: the current tryouts are judging the inactivity by prior to the downtime. however, since this plan wasnt made clear to everyone since it's just been made, the people who led the inactive groups are permitted to re-try out for the HP position.
