YUMA HAYES

yuma has an intricate personality. on the outside he appears to be full of charm, giving off a charismatic aura. he speaks in a smooth manner and has no trouble befriending others. his only flaw appears to be how he is unable to provide comfort or give advice. however, his outward debonair personality contrasts with what lies beneath. yuma is a high functioning sociopath with low empathy towards others. he is cold and calculating, constantly making observations. yuma’s outward personality is a mask, serving as a reflection of what he obtained through watching the actions of others. he feels little to no remorse towards other people. lying and manipulating comes easy to him, to the point where he could cry on the the spot if he pleased. he is extremely confident in himself and abilities, occasionally overlooking his own mistakes because of this. yuma has an obsession with being in control. he has a plan for every situation that he comes across. unfortunately, human emotions can lead to unpredictable actions that go against said plans. this is one of the few things that can set his temper off and irritate him enough that he has an external reaction. his anger usually doesn’t last longer than a few minutes, but he usually shows it by verbally degrading the one who elicited the emotion. he is extremely goal-orientated and driven. he will not stop until he obtains what he wants. yuma does not interact with people unless he’s found a way they could be of use for him. if he can find a way to profit, even if it’s just for temporary lust or mere amusement, yuma will not hesitate to use these people until he becomes bored. once bored of a person and what they have to offer, he will waste no time with murdering them. to him, the thrill of killing seems to be the last way he can gain something beneficial from the relationship. yuma does not like being confined. he is not committed to romantic relationships, as it may become mundane after a while. due to this, he does not hesitate to sleep around and cheat while dating. the chance of being caught only adds to the thrill. due to their simplicity, yuma takes a liking towards cats. He would easily choose them over spending time with a human.


at the moment, yuma is twenty-five years old. he dyes his hair often in order to better conceal his identity, but at the moment it's a bright crimson red. it also usually appears to be disheveled and messy, because of a combination of both laziness and stylistic purposes. his height is 5'8, standing at 177 centimeters tall. he appears to have extremely captivating eyes, which are a light hue of brown. they usually seem lively unless he reveals his true personality. only then would they look completely devoid of emotion, usually staring coldly. he always shows off his wealth by wearing extravagant suits, as well earrings, necklaces, and watches. he constantly has a pack of cigarettes on his person. on the back of his shoulder is a tattoo of the korean character '火.' It has a double meaning, being both the word for fire as well as anger. there are also very light scars running through his collarbones and chest.


eight years after yuma was born, his father had died in an accidental car crash. although this had almost no effect on yuma, being too young a the time, his mother experienced a drastic change. she began by slowly isolating herself from the people she had been close to as well as tuning out the rest of the world. her days had been filled with absolute guilt and misery, due to how she refused to believe the fact there was no way to prevent what had happened. a few years later, yuma's mother began to lash out at him once she realized that his few memories of his father were already starting to fade away. she descended further into madness afterwards, constantly in denial and mixing up reality from imagination. her temporary way out of this state was through alcohol. yuma began to become more independent at the time, working multiple jobs as soon as he was able to. if he arrived home on a good day, his mother would throw empty bottles at him as he walked past. if it had been a bad day she would beckon him over and proceed to run the shards of these bottles against his skin, thus creating the scars he still has today. while doing so she would verbally belittle and degrade him until she grew bored with his reactions for the day. on his eighteenth birthday, he had been awoken to the house in flames. yuma had narrowly escaped through the window of his bedroom. although even after the smoke cleared, his mother was no where to be seen. in her place had been a blackened and unrecognizable corpse that the firefighters rushed to put into a body bag before dragging it away. it had later been explained to him that the fire was intentional, started by his mother as a way to kill the both of them. that had been the final straw for yuma. it seemed to be as if there was a switch in his mind, one that was able to shut off his emotions before he could be completely overwhelmed by them. this had been the beginning of his sociopathy. the fire had left him with absolutely nothing, although he passed it off as a new start he could get as a new person. after this event, he would begin a cycle. it involved forming a relationship with a random target. once he became bored with them he would light their house on fire, murdering them in the process. the police began to get involved once they noticed the pattern, however dropped the case after multiple of their investigators and officers began to be killed in a similar process. the name 'yuma hayes' is a fake identity, as he makes a new one each time he murders another victim. however his true name is completely unknown, due to the fact that even he has repressed and completely forgotten it.
