"speech" 'thought' text It had been weeks, actually a month since he'd played the piano. His hand was still stiff from the damage Teddy had done to it the day of his punishment. But the best way to get the full range of movement he needed with his hand, was to use it again. He had been playing quietly on the piano for a few minutes now, and as he drew to the close of the song, wistful tunes gently exuding from the instrument, he stopped. My Heart Will Go On was finished, though done a bit choppily. He extended all his fingers, wincing at the pain which came from stretching his hand. With a sigh he wiggled his fingers, and began to play another song, this time the music of Billy Joel. He liked the singer-songwriter. Liked even more the music he had created... songs for all emotions. The music was sad, bringing thoughts to his mind that had been resurfacing more this past month. He didn't like how tiring emotions were at times. He didn't sing along, just played. For the Longest Time all the while thinking about Jenny. He was still stuck up in his past, and it was questionable if he'd ever actually move past it. His fingers danced over the keyboard, the pain of his mostly healed hand forgotten as he drowned himself in the music. He was sad when it came to an end. Re: you had to be a big shot ; piano 2.0 - TATIANA. - 01-20-2021 [align=center][div style="width: 400px; text-align: justify; font-size: 12px; font-family: times new roman; letter-spacing: .6px; color: #494949;"]tatiana appreciated all form of art she could experience. paintings, sculptures, music, and her personal favorite, dancing - any type of art that people would share. in such a dark and dreary world, people could use the little cracks of color that art could provide, even if it were just for a fleeting moment. though she was still rather hesitant with sharing her colors with people, she hoped that it still brought them some form of happiness if they were to watch her, just as she felt when she heard the piano playing around the corner. she offered small smiles to people she crossed paths with when she entered the room, taking a seat after getting her drink. as the music went on, there was a small sway that began to overtake her body in her chair, a habit that she got whenever there was any music around. "you play beautifully, you have a gift for it." she spoke up when the song was over, her voice soft and quiet. "have you been playing for long?" with the talent mike had, tatiana had to assume he had been playing for quite some time.
