I love all of you and hope you had a wonderful day! What did you all get today? I got two new shirts (that are Bioshock), a lot of candy, and a whale lamp that lights up in different colours if you pat it! I also got a small bottle of hand sanitizer haha. And a big bottle of runchata. I got myself a tapestry and a duvet cover and some Schleich horse figures! I got a shire mare and an Andalusian stallion! My other gifts are coming in, in January! And those who don’t celebrate Christmas, what did you do today? How did your day go? Re: murrie crimble - moony. - 12-27-2020 belated merry christmas and happy holidays to you as well! how did your day go? i was honestly tired the entire time myself because my sleep schedule has been very messed up since i went on winter break lol . i had a big family zoom call since i couldn't fly out and visit everyone like me and my parents usually do. honestly very entertaining watching all the old people try to work zoom, had a good few hours nonetheless!
i love the sound of your whale lamp ? the wannabe marine biologist in me screams that i should just snatch it for myself at this point. is it like an outline or like those sort of jelly-ish soft lamps that i've seen around on the internet lately? as for me, i got some ivy vine decorations for my room, a new bottle and matching shower gel of my favorite perfume, and some gift cards that i used to buy myself some albums, a persona 5 figure, and a book. christmas gift money just hits different, y'know? are you looking forward to anything in the coming new year? :0 Re: murrie crimble - truce. - 12-27-2020 [align=center][div style="width: 430px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 6pt; letter-spacing: 2.5px; word-spacing: 0px; line-height: 12px; color: #000"]Happy holidays to everyone! It makes me so happy to hear that you both enjoyed Christmas Day! My Christmas Day was very laidback which was well needed GFJKL got to wake up late, called my South African family to wish them a great day, spent time outside with my dogs, then made a Christmas dinner! The food is definitely my favourite part of the celebrations FHGLK Covid hasn't been too good to my family this year so I didn't get any gifts from them, but that was totally fine by me! I'm just glad I could spend it with my family this year, ya know? I did use the rest of my semester's student loan to buy myself a hard drive to play my games (and ofc store work,,,, ofc) though, and managed to get it just before Christmas so I consider that my gift from me ahaha and my grandma got me a biography of my favourite vet (I study veterinary medicine so it's not a totally random gift, I promise FHGJKL) and yeah! I love both so much! For the new year I'm most excited to see what I get to study next on my course FHGKL it has been so fun working with animals as often as I do and it never gets old, but I'm absolutely dying to branch out and work with more species next year. What about you guys?! Re: murrie crimble - moony. - 12-27-2020 [div style="text-align: justify;width:400px;margin: 0 auto;line-height:14px;font-family: arial;font-size:9pt"]aaah that sounds so nice, truce! honestly, i've never been once for holiday foods (thanksgiving being the biggest one i can think of) but i do miss the christmas potluck and going out and getting boba like, every day since visiting my family means i'm in the city where there's boba shops everywhere arrRG also lemme pet ur dogs pls... hahah "store work" we all know how that goes lskdjf i'm actually hoping to build my own PC soon so hahaha the storage will be full of games in no time weats: honestly good thing abt covid is staying home so i'm not paying full tuition for in person classes and i don't need to spend money on personal groceries and food, etc, since my parents and i just share everything again. more money for other, completely useful, things i tell myself :,) also being a vet, that sounds really rewarding and cool! who's your favorite vet? :O honestly i'm an avid reader but i just can't get through biographies, even of people i like lksjfds i'm fiction all the way babeee. what species are you hoping to work with, if you have any in mind? i'm looking forward to honestly building my PC and redoing my room, i've just been waiting for all the furniture to come! it's been delayed but should be in sometimes in january, it's a makeover that's been years and years in the making hehehe i have one class i'm kinda looking forward too, a geology class though. just testing the waters because i've been looking at different branches of study and thinking about declaring a minor if i can find one i like! other than minoring in chinese if i continue with the language study :,) which i plan to do, i'm just very slow at picking it up lskdjfs Re: murrie crimble - Cas - 12-27-2020 Oooo Truce that's awesome that you study to vet medicine! That was a nice gift your grandma gave you.I don't understand how you guys can build your own PCs, y'all are so talented! Moony, I also got new shower gels which I'm excited about. One of them is mint scented and I adore mint, so that will be fun to use! Other than that, I got some clothes, my favorite being a black denim dress. I also got some autobiographies and Ross Matthew's newest book because i'm a hopeless gay lmao Next year I'm really looking forward to the assigned reading in my English classes! We've got One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Sula, and If Beale Street Could Talk, all of which seem amazing. Truce what species do you want to work with in the future? Moony, did anything in particular inspire you to try out geology? I hope it goes well? Re: murrie crimble - moony. - 12-28-2020 [div style="text-align: justify;width:400px;margin: 0 auto;line-height:14px;font-family: arial;font-size:9pt"]i just have a lot of youtube walkthroughs saved that i will be following step by step hehehe ooh mint is such a crisp scent, but i don't use it often outside of lotions. mine is supposed to be a pineapple kind of scent, but a lot of people tell me it smells more like baby powder ldkfjds i've never heard of those books, but boy howdy am i about to look them up! and not really? which sounds bad but i swear it's not lol . i've always thoughts rocks were kinda cool, but the main reason i'm taking it is because it's a required course if i want to declare a planetary sciences minor, which i already got a jump on because i took astronomy last semester. overall, the planetary sciences minor seems interesting! and something i can handle, because i honestly don't have a head for sciences and math ;w; Re: murrie crimble - truce. - 12-29-2020 [align=center][div style="width: 430px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 6pt; letter-spacing: 2.5px; word-spacing: 0px; line-height: 12px; color: #000"]omg i LOVE boba. it's a shame bc in england it doesn't seem nearly as popular as it sounds in america! also OFC YOU CAN PET MY DOGS. i have four lil puppers! two poodle crosses, a yorkie and a pekingese! we rescued the latter two and flew them over from the UAE! HFGHJKL im dead i love that. firstly yo!! i've always wanted to build myself a computer but i feel like i'd not know how to when it came to the grand scheme of things GHKJL my best bet was this external hard drive which has 1TB of storage! what games are you into?? ah, thank u guys!! <33 my fave vet is noel fitzpatrick! he specialises in orthopaedics and neurology which is really interesting to me! although i love dogs, medically i've always been interested in large animals! initially, the idea of working with zoo animals inspired me to try get a place in a vet school as i've always loved ungulates but then when i started actually working with animals i came to realise i really love equine and farm practice! i'm definitely a cow lover so it'll likely be specialising in horses or farm animals. ooo redoing your room! i bet you must be excited to give it a makeover! cas, those books sound interesting! i've legit never heard of them before but i looked at a synopsis for them and they sounded fun FHDKJL Re: murrie crimble - moony. - 12-29-2020 [div style="text-align: justify;width:400px;margin: 0 auto;line-height:14px;font-family: arial;font-size:9pt"]pls omg i had popping boba for the first time in london and i ascended :powercry: also they sound so adorable omg i'm omw as we speak to pet them into oblivion! pls i'm the same way klsdjf i'm so nervous about it but i just gotta go for it or i'll never have the pc ouuuGH right now i'm into overwatch and persona! i play overwatch and persona 5 on the ps4 that's in my house, and i've played through p4 on my vita (thought p4g is now on steam). and i have p3 on my ps3 which is the only reason i've kept it bc it's the last console that i can get it on without attempting emulation or smth. hmm i'm also playing through fire emblem 3 houses and the ace attorney trilogy rn on my switch! i do have genshin impact but i don't touch it as much, but i'm definitely gonna get it when i get my pc along with LoL weats: that's a lot i just unloaded lol, but what about you? :0 oooh farm vet sounds really awesome! i used to be big into horses and used to do some dressage when i was younger but that's about all i did ;w; and now i'm scared of them bc of an accident but i still love them |
