THE SKIES ARE OPEN || VISIT . - MOLLIE. - 03-26-2020

[align=center][div style="width: 430px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 6pt; letter-spacing: 1.5px; word-spacing: 0px; line-height: 12px; color: #000"]Jimmy was a patient mule.

Head bobbing lazily and skin twitching ever-so-slightly from the cold, the mule persevered through the snow, warm breath visible in the air. When Mollie found out that her sister lived in the mountains, she didn’t quite expect it to be so damn cold around these parts. Goosebumps sent the hairs on her skin rising, one gloved hand rubbing against her thigh in an attempt to warm her fingertips up some more. At least Jimmy was taking the trip far easier than Mollie was, but then again Mollie wasn’t a nine hundred pound beast with a thick layer of fat and muscle to keep her warm.

Jimmy was a lucky little bitch.

Rosy cheeks brightened her golden complexion, a woman so used to a hot and arid climate. In fact, this was almost literally the opposite of what Mollie was used to. Give her a break! It would take a while to acclimatise. After all, this would be the first of many visits, she’d decided. When she lost Emery, Mollie thought that she’d spend the rest of her days on her own. Dare she even say that she cried herself to sleep one too many nights, wishing that Emery had at least left a note, tried to tell her where she’d gone if Mollie were to ever return.

But, Em was mature in accepting that Mollie might have been dead. Mollie also believed that that’d be her fate. And so, years went by where Mollie traveled the country in solitude - it was funny being born alongside her sister, and knowing that they’d die apart. Otherwise, the solitude wasn’t all so bad. The loneliness was dangerous for a woman as gregarious and outspoken as Mollie, but it was also the safest thing for her.

Sometimes it seemed as if the loneliness would be better than living among faces that did not include her sister; she wouldn’t be trying to live some lie where she trusted any of them. The only person she ever needed was her sister.

A visit was long overdue. She missed Emery and, after reuniting, Mollie could not stop thinking about her. Finally; she was going to be able to see where her sister chose to call her home. She hoped Em liked it here.

Slowing Jimmy to a halt, Mollie’s shoulders slumped as she grimaced ever-so-slightly at the lodge in the distance. She chose to go no further; she wasn’t planning on getting shot for trespassing today. Instead, she waited, mindlessly running gloved fingers through Jimmy’s mane until she heard someone approaching, pale green eyes darting up to see who it could be.

Re: THE SKIES ARE OPEN || VISIT . - freddie - 03-27-2020

[align=center][div style="background=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; color: black"]

eyes wandered over towards two figures wandering closer to the lodge - and he couldn’t help the way his lips twitched, looking almost smugged and so pleasantly surprised all at once. well, look who finally decided to pay him a visit. about time she was finally the one wrapped around his finger and not the other way around. he glanced around before making his way over - almost purposefully not saying in his walkie talkie that there was a visitor. not yet. about time to see the woman who was so painfully on his mind occasionally.

he was only slightly scared to admit mollie crossed his mind from time to time. actually, in some ways it almost began to terrify him. it wasn’t like him to spend so much time thinking about some person meant to be just a quick fling - but there was something special about her. she was blunt, hard to get, playful, and most importantly - badass. mollie hawthorne was mess and chaos so perfectly wrapped together it was like she was meant to bring the likes of frederick stirling down to his knees. two could play at that game, molls.

“nice ass,” he greeted, an easy smile coming to his lips as he sauntered on over, confident as always. could anyone else say this shit and manage to get away with it quite like fred did? he had yet to find someone to prove it. he gestured absently towards the mule beside her, almost too pleased with himself as he added, “nice mule you've got there, too.” hey, if you couldn’t handle him at his crude humor, you didn’t deserve him at his best. but, still. it was a pretty good line, he boasted.

he waited a moment before taking out his walkie-talkie, saying, “we’ve got a visitor at the border.” then, after relaying the information, he settled for crossing his arms over his chest and raised his brows. “well. were you starting to miss me already?” perhaps during his and will’s plan of finding a dirty group of traitors to commit massive group slaughter, he had purposefully made sure to swing by and look around for mollie. just maybe.

// i'm just going to apologize in advance for him
