LOSE CONTROL / SNOWBALL FIGHT, O - freddie - 02-27-2020 [align=center][div style="background=transparent; borderwidth=0px; bordercolor=; width: 400px; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%; text-align: justify; font-family: arial; color: black"] — with flintlock coming up on dark times, fred figured that the group could use a bit of a pick-me-up. people needed something to make them momentarily forget about the bleak situation. they needed something to take their mind off of their own sadness or the subtle growl of their own stomachs. freddie was up to the task, even if he didn’t expressly say his reasoning for it. however, the only problem was that-- “heads up!” freddie’s idea of “fun” was far different than the average person. he watched the snow ball he launched fly towards the person he called out towards, seemingly not giving the person an early warning on purpose. he watched as the snow pelted the other person, laughing to himself with only what could be described delight. “that was a good throw, don’t you think?” he asked the question as he crouched down to scoop up another handful of snow in his gloved hand, working on crafting another perfect snowball to launch at his poor helpless victim. he squinted at the other person as if focused before launching another one their way. Re: LOSE CONTROL / SNOWBALL FIGHT, O - EDMUND. - 03-01-2020 Eddie didn’t need the added stress of Frederick Stirling, but he supposed that it was inevitable. After the devastation in Flintlock Lodge, Eddie was stressed. Far more stressed than usual, and yet he would not dare show such emotion, especially in front of the likes of Freddie. He couldn’t say that he liked his cousin’s company whatsoever - the sly and snaky man who, like a hyena, would scavenge ruthlessly for any sign of weakness to prey upon. Sometimes he couldn’t help his innate reflexes. ❝ Heads up! ❞ Eddie had little time to react before a snowball pelted into his side, the leader hissing with shock before he turned to look towards Freddie with an infuriated glower. ❝ The fuck was that for?! ❞ He questioned snappily, barely having time to finish his sentence before another snowball hit the back of his head. He whipped his head around to see William standing there, feigning an apologetic look on his face, before calling out, ❝ Lighten up, Boss! It’s just some fun- ❞ William leaned down, cupping up another snowball before lobbing it at Freddie. Ed shook snow out from the hood of his jacket, nostrils flaring with exasperation. Yeah, but Eddie’s kind of fun would be pelting bullets Freddie’s way. ❝ No thanks. ❞ He uttered, trying to walk away as he listened to the sound of William clicking his tongue and chuckling, ❝ All right, spoilsport. ❞ And then, another snowball hit him, Ed’s fists clenching as he turned to look back at Freddie. ❝ Are you fuckin’ done now? ❞ He hissed bitterly, William not far behind Eddie childishly mouthing Eddie’s words mockingly at Freddie before smirking to himself. It seemed as if Ed was stuck as monkey in the middle. He contemplated his next move for a moment before scooping up a snowball, making sure to pack it extra tightly so that is felt more like a block of ice, before throwing it at Freddie roughly. Well that was one vindictive way of reacting. "avenge me, will!" in retaliation, he decided to chuck another snowball at ed to get some form of retaliation. he huffed a short breath as he scooped up another one and relentlessly threw snowballs in eddie’s direction, one after the other. “dance, monkey, dance!” oh how he loved to cause ed so much grief. Re: LOSE CONTROL / SNOWBALL FIGHT, O - STIRLING. - 03-20-2020 [align=center][div style="width: 430px; text-align: justify; font-family: verdana; font-size: 6pt; letter-spacing: 2.5px; word-spacing: 0px; line-height: 12px; color: #000"]The look on his face was priceless. The textbook definition of smugness riddled across William’s features as he popped his head up, straightening his once arched back whilst he cupped a snowball in his hand. Ready to catch Eddie off guard. The two brothers were inseparable; you’d never see one without the other, and so it was no surprise to see that William had very swiftly involved himself in whatever risky business this was. Clamped jaw, William bared his teeth in a feigned grimace - as if he nearly sympathized with his cousin as Eddie was pelted with a snowball from Freddie. Well, in William’s defense, this could’ve been a whole lot less humiliating for Eddie if he just had a sense of humor for once in his life - if laughter was deadly then this bastard would be immortal. William finally threw a snowball at Edmund, as if that could knock some sense or personality into the grumbling Captain. If this was their idea of respecting authority, then Eddie was a tolerant man - Will had to give it to him for that much. ❝ Nice shot. ❞ William subtly wagged his brows at Freddie before looking at Eddie once the Captain turned to look at him. His first thoughts were the blame a bad throw - perhaps he was aiming for Freddie and yet Ed managed to step in the way - but nothing William did was ever faulty. So, instead, he was prideful as he pointed out, ❝ Lighten up, Boss! It’s just some fun- ❞ Whilst he spoke, he began to form another snowball - this one would be his coverup story. These snowballs were evidently directed towards Freddie, right? Well - not quite. That wouldn’t be as fun. Besides, oh was Eddie fuming; a sight for sore eyes, that was for sure. William dusted off his coat which was so notably free of snow, the silent declaration that he seemed to be immune from any snowballs. Well, rightly so - Will wasn’t being the little shit, that role was exclusively Freddie’s in Ed’s eyes. William was the modest big brother, the man who could do no harm. He was suave and personable, easy-going with one hell of a charm. As pure as the white snow he began to pat into a firm snowball before he raised his head to see as Eddie threw a snowball at Freddie. ❝ Yaaay- ❞ William uttered beneath his breath - it was about time Eddie grew a sense of humor. ❝ Avenge me, Will! ❞ William huffed a breath of laughter; Freddie didn’t need to ask him twice. With the snowball he’d prepared in advance, he threw it at Eddie before reaching to throw another. And, another. And, another until Ed had no choice but to cover his face, pelted from both angles with snow. ❝ Fuckin’ stop! ❞ Eddie snapped, William cackling to himself heedlessly as he threw more snowballs at his cousin. ❝ I’m… dreaming. Of a White. Christmas- ❞ William began to sing carelessly until Eddie began to trudge away. ❝ What’s wrong, Boss? ❞ Ed looked up at the two brothers with an icy stare, William pulling his lips downwards in ❛ surprise ❜ before pointing out teasingly, ❝ You weren’t throwing any snowballs. ❞ ❝ Yeah, because I’m not acting like a fucking child. ❞ Ed growled, pointer finger wagging at the two brothers before adding, ❝ You act like a child, I treat you like a child. The both of you are getting extra chores this week. ❞ Eddie frowned before walking away, William curling his lip before looking towards his little brother, lazily gesturing towards the Captain. ❝ He’s the one having a temper tantrum though, amirite? ❞ Re: LOSE CONTROL / SNOWBALL FIGHT, O - aspen - 03-22-2020 [align=center][div style="width: 480px; text-align: justify; font-family: calibri; font-size: 8pt; color: #484848; word-spacing: 4px; line-height: 22px;"] this was a scene familiar to aspen. a snowball fight, someone not quite enjoying it, and everyone else having a good time at their expense. the very sight was enough to erupt a smile onto aspen's features, memories of better times with familiar people coming to mind. though, it seemed this was a far more fair fight, considering alder wasn't there to throw an ice ball and give someone a concussion. and, apparently, there was music. half because she'd mastered the art of snowballing by growing up in a place where the snow rarely melted, and half because there was something about attractive men grinning all giddily that was so damn hard to resist, she sank to the ground to scoop up snow, forming it into a nearly perfect ball. she then launched it over head towards william, glancing to grin at edmund only to see the boss marching off. a look flashed in her eyes momentarily, memories erupting of hawthorn doing the same, but it dissipated immediately. men.
