so, i'll start with eddie ofc and if this thread gets any traction i may do my other stirling boys eventually.
when it comes to songs, almost all of his songs are like alternative rock kinda vibes like definitely them songs that sound a little dark and eerie. also i rlly like sound effects ?? in his songs that represent him can you tell i think a lot about my character playlists for example one has a sound effect of a match being stricken, another has the bells of a train line, the other has like. a cathedral choir sounding vibe and. yes. its all very ed.

[sup]idfk what the genre is of half the songs in elwins playlist but they're like.... wildly different? it ranges from fucking deftones to billy idol so. yknow. they're either really chaotic or really edgy. fitting because elwin is still going through his emo phase but he's also this close to being legally classified as a crackhead
i have it here if you're interested in seeing what a mess it is[/sup]
a lot of the songs in elwin's playlist either have very standoffish or self-pitying, "self-sacrificing" themes. i think these are pretty in-character for him because, being 16 years old, he's convinced the world is against him, and that any basic human task he does deserves to be awarded and seen as such a grand sacrifice because why should he do anything for anyone else?

for emery, i have a lot of softer and slower songs for her. i don't really have a specific genre or anything when it comes to her, it's just basically songs i feel either fit her with the style or lyrics.

fred has a lot of "themes" but i think i can do top three
most of his songs are sort of just. blood-pumping songs. sometimes i compare them as being songs you can hear on a game's selection screen ASDF. there's also a lot of things about "being a legend" which is sort of fred's dream in a bottle. he wants to be King and frankly he thinks he's king HA
