2:42AM
they lacerate me, those tiny knives
my thoughts as blades of glass

2:56AM
writers block feels like reading the same thing you've already written
over
and over
and over again
except
at some point, it won't look like you anymore

3:00AM
i keep hearing a voice read out these words in my head
it's not my voice though
i can audibly feel the difference
it's the writers block again
preventing my brain from reading my own writing correctly

3:05AM
sleep's filled with a harmony of calming oceans and uncontrollable cars
i pray i don't have the nightmare again

Bearbones Gothic

- you stare at the post button. you've been starting at it for ten minutes since you finished writing. were you ever writing? did you ever finish? had it been ten minutes? you can't remember. the mouse hovers as you debate to post it or not. why wouldn't you? you've spent all day writing this one reply. you decide to go back and reread it to check for spelling errors. there is no reply there.

- the aesthetic moodboards of other's characters meet your eyes. in all of them the colors match perfectly. you decide to try your hand at it. none of your colors match. which character was this for again? did you even search for these pictures? you look at the preview of the moodboard. its been completed. you could've swore there were only two photos before.

- someone writes about their real life circumstances. you wish to say something on the topic. the others feel the same and write replies of warmth or witty remarks. you quote them. someone after quotes you quoting them. that quote is quoted. that quote is quoted. that quote is quoted. it no longer belongs to the original author. the name is missing. who wrote it? you can't remember. you assume it was you and move on.

- you make a dump for your characters. everyone else has one. who were you dumping? you can't recall. the thread fills with tracks and inside jokes. you, for the most part, stay silent. at first there were pictures and gifs, but the flow of content soon stops. the tracks and inside jokes disappear. it was dumping you.

- its 2:30AM. what are you doing here? the screen reads: no unread topics found since your last visit. click here to try all unread topics. you click refresh. no unread topics found since your last visit. click here to try all unread topics. you click refresh. no unread topics found since your last visit. click here to try all unread topics. you click refresh. its now exactly 4AM. you click refresh. there is nothing. a constant emptiness has been filling you. was there ever anything there? you close your laptop and retire to sleep. you open the site when you wake up later that morning. when you click show new replies to your posts there is an unread message. it was posted at 4:01.

- you open the site. it doesn't appear. an empty white page fils the screen. you refresh the page. it is still an empty white infinity. you sit and refresh the page over ten times. you've wasted almost an hour. nothing but that white infinity. you suddenly can't remember what the site looked like before this. what was your profile picture? what thread were you planning on replying to? was there even a site to begin with? you close the tab.

- "plot with me" someone pleads. you oblige. a pm is sent to you. you open the message. it's completely blank. you try and send one in return, attempting to explain the situation. you get no reply. days pass. you check again. the user isn't there. who were they? what did they ask again? you return to your thread. "plot with me" you plead.

- you complete your profile. it looks perfect. everything in order...except your location. you are hesitant, then remember that this is the internet. you jokingly put "hell". you blink after saving it. suddenly your room is pitch black. its incredibly hot. you immediately begin to sweat uncontrollably. you shut your laptop and look out the window. fire. you are exactly where you said you were.

[align=center][div style="0px; width:400px; height:auto; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height:13px;"]st. johns - idk what this is but hopefully it will get better

"run!! run hadley, run!!" he cried, the blood from his cut lip mixing with the desperate call. the floor was cold in its natural state but was now covered with bodies of fading warmth, his included.

hadley couldn't breathe. she could feel the chemicals in her body working in overdrive. the constant pain her in side was stretching out across her entire lower abdomen like tree roots. the mantra in her head only telling her she needed to keep running. keep running. keep running.

her feed pounded against the floor, as her eyes darted from wall to wall, trying to remember where to go when all the hallways looked the same. hadley couldn't stop. all she knew was that she needed to get out. he said he'd be safe, having two hearts to protect him. that wasn't convincing enough. hadley kept running.

will write more later

please, i just want to go home - muse for this appeared to me at 3:00am

hadley's pale cheeks stained wet with tears of sheer exhaustion. her prison was nothing but a white space or at least, that was all she could remember. her body hurt. she couldn't recall why. every time she looked down at her body there was a new bruise or cut that was stitched close or a scar that had not there before. these tiny invasions continued on no known schedule except that they did not stop. they never stopped.

stop! please stop! my cuts won't heal you bastards! leave me alone!

she lay against the side of her cage, if you could even call it that. it felt like it was a circular room but she could not be sure. she hardly slept, the brightness of whatever pale fluorescent light source kept her awake until she could physically take no more. until she collapsed. until her conscience human mind was bendable and feeble. she would do or say anything, just to get some sleep.

do you know what that feels like? do you know what it's like to never sleep?

"please. please let me out." she pleased to the walls. the captors were never seen. only heard and felt. they prodded her and probed her leaving her limbs broken like twigs. she couldn't remember how many times she's woken from some for of sleep to find her ankle or wrist broken. oh how the pain burned. it burned like fire. she would cry and cry until her eyes could produce no more. till her throat was horse from her screams. hadley never stopped. she would make sure they knew she was in pain. not like they cared.

can't you hear me? can't you hear me scream? why do you not help me?

her hair had been cut short. like that of a military cadet. the last of her physique that reminded her of just how human she was had been ripped from her. hadley could run her hands over the buzz, wishing her brown locks will simply reappear there. they never did. each time she tried. like a eight year old, she tried to will the brown mop back into existence. often in her timeless prison she would retreat into old memories. it wasn't uncommon apparently, for those in her situation to completely lose their sense of being and hide in their past selves. hadley refused to die. as persistence was the only way to continue living.

please daniel. they are killing me. where are you? where did you go?

sometimes hadley found herself aimless mumbling things, like an asylum patient would. then again, who was to say she wasn't as asylum patient. after all, being in a white prison felt as if it were. she suddenly couldn't remember what her street address was. "no no no." she cried. she knew she had to remember something like that. but other waking hours would kill other memories. she lost what model her car was. she lost her cat's name. hadley could recall owning a cat. she knew she did. what was he called again...

you're taking my memories now! no! you can't have them! i won't let you

"i won't let you..." she mumbled. 'i won't let you..." pink hair. he had pink hair last. it was soft and fluffy. he was tall. really tall. he was like a tower next to a princess like her. he thought she was a princess. he wore soft shirts that always smelled of lavender. he went camping with her. he drove a car older than she was. he liked her cat. and space. he loved space. he loved space almost as much as she loved her.

daniel, im sorry.

hadley closed her eyes against the harsh white glare. it had always been too bright. everything was burning. her skin had felt the sting of one too many cuts, her mind the burning of one too many breaks. hadley was losing touch and she knew it. this shouldn't of happen to her. it never should of happen at all. had to die or surrender. there was only two options, and even they had taken the option of death away from her. she had one choice. hadley scrunched her limbs together, lying in the fetal position, defeated. suddenly the grunge voice of an old women appeared around her, it seeped through the captive walls in a condescending tone. "its all right miss morton. everything is going to be fine. now tell us: what is it that you know about aliens?

[div style="0px; width:400px; height:auto; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height:13px;"]take exit 13 north to highway 2-22 - hopefully this turns out as cool as i pictured it

highway 2-22 is a long and winding two lane road that branches off from interstate 93 to the small town of pinnacle pines, maine. pinnacle pines was similar to many small towns, as it had unquestionable integrity and pride in itself which held no real value in the real world; the local gossip moved incredibly fast because those who spread it took it upon themselves to make that their empty life's purpose, and everyone seemed to somehow know everyone else, if not in person than by some connection. pinnacle pines was stereotypical in these aspects. this stereotype was not something commonly pondered upon by anyone who lived in the forest trapped society. often, children, in their naive nature, would comment on just how typecast the surroundings were, but they were quickly hushed by the elders and everyone else. the adults of the town thoroughly denied that pinnacle pines was just the same as somewhere else. "Nowhere is like pinnacle pines! Nowhere do the trees grow as tall or the fog as thick! pinnacle pines: the north forest's gem!" they would repeat anxiously with false enthusiasm, as to not sound out of place. no one wanted to be out of place in pinnacle pines. the town itself demanded to be called 'unique' but the people refused to share the title.

pinnacle pines was founded in 1745 as a lumber and sea port town. old sea wind beaten buildings lined the side of town closest to the ocean. you could smell the salt even inside those aging buildings. pinnacle pines never completely saw a heyday, in the literal sense of the word. it was always small. always quiet. the main export was still lumber, as the town was surrounded by gargantuan pine trees on three sides, and the sea port still had the occasional visitor vessel, but nothing drastic ever changed. you were born in pinnacle pines and you died in pinnacle pines. no one ever seemed to leave and no one ever seemed to come either.

it was a general mystery to how this tiny town with few visitors stayed afloat but few had the curiosity to seek out an actual answer. in fact, curiosity was not a trait commonly found in anyone in pinnacle pines, except for the untaught children, but even they were later schooled in how to be a civil member of such a community. you see, the people of pinnacle pines lacked any curiosity. at all. they were the poster children for 'going with the flow' as an entire family could move in then leave after three months and no one would utter a word about it.

pinnacle pines' mayor was a square faced greying man named Gregory Samuel. he often said little, as most of his appearances were accompanied by his secretary and designated "voice" matthew kelly, who most basically considered the mayor anyway. matthew kelly was every young woman's dream, with a strong jawline and blue eyes. he was made up to be the most good looking person in town, an the most eligible bachelor. he had been the perfect son, grown up captain of the pinnacle pines ravens and was named the school's most promising graduate, an award, while holding a mediocre name, was the most prestigious next to valedictorian. matthew kelly's goal was to by mayor of the town, all he had to do was either win an election or wait for gregory to die off...

matthew kelly was the eldest of three siblings, and the most well respected. his sister was greer kelly, the local rebel without a cause. she was deemed crazy, as greer tended to point out just how corrupt and strange the traditions and local quips of the town were and she was often the subject of local gossip. greer had a strong jawline like her older brother and bright eyes. everyone knew greer kelly, every kid was told to stay away from her, and every teen dared each other to step onto her property. on the surface everyone shunned her because she preached the truth, but underneath, they all knew she was right.

the third sibling of the kelly family evelyn kelly. the youngest of the family, evelyn was incredibly popular, on the honor roll, and interned with her older brother matthew in the mayor's office. the kelly's ran the town, as they were the family with the most recognition and money. the kelly family leaders were john and georgia kelly. they would do anything for the success of their children. anything.

pinnacle pines was home to others, from the well respected to degenerates alike. there was summers morgan, who moved to town through the foster system and he was often rumored to be homeless, but you could always spot his brightly colored hair when we was wandering the streets. there was jane montel, the women who ran pinnacle pines high school, if she ran the school well was yet to be decided. the local newspaper, pinnacle pines daily, was headed by lauren trevor, a tiny blonde women who took no shit from nobody but was known for her ever revolving wheel of uncommitted boyfriends. the sheriff was lucas rowan, and his daughter harper rowan was an attendee of the pinnacle pines high school, but was far from the social status of evelyn kelly. The town of pinnacle pines was small, only holding maybe 5,000 residents. Each of these five thousands were connected, and everyone had something to say about at least one person the knew.

there was a defining moment in pinnacle pines’ history on november 13th, with the unexpected disappearance of anthony carson. the son of the local disgrace, there was a very small amount of people who cared about such an avent. sheriff rowan sent out a search party but the case was dropped within two weeks once a bloodied hoodie was discovered and it was assumed that anthony carson had clumsily gotten himself lost and eaten by wolves but they knew better. the town itself knew better than to think that anthony carson was simply eaten by wolves. they didn’t want to know. the people didn’t want to know what happened to him or where he’d gone, because that meant finding answers to more questions. questions no one wanted to even ask.

december 5th. harper rowan and her best friend oliver lord were still searching for anthony carson. they were looking in the woods surrounding mount kelly, the area within ten miles of kelly house, the mansion residents of the town’s most famous family. the duo, not even sure what they were looking for, stumbled upon something so much worse than the body of anthony carson. what they found had the potential to destroy the entire town of pinnacle pines. harper and oliver did the most logical thing they knew, they went to the one person who would believe them: greer kelly.

[align=center][div style="0px; width:400px; height:auto; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height:13px;"]give me danley or give me death - my revenge attempt for the gaveyard bird

burning
her skin burned
her bones ached
her mind screamed
more than before, if that was possible

since she'd given in to them, as an attempt to escape the torture, they'd dragged her out of the white dimension that was her prison and moved her to a room white grey walls. there was a table in the center with two chairs. she was strapped into the one which forced her back to face the door. hadley hated that. she couldn't see who was going to enter or what they were possibly bringing in accompaniment. all she could think about was how much her limbs felt weak and how much her vision was blurry. her head pounded every second she breathed.

hadley was left alone to wait, she knew not for what or who. then, the door opened and the clicking of high heels made hadley's mind become slightly sharper. the newest member to the room moved around the table, and as she passed, hadley felt an old and bone finger move powerfully along her shoulder. the women finally sat down, and hadley could clearly see who had been keeping her here.

she was wearing a black blazer with long pants to match. her hair was short and white, but styled well. her nails appeared manicured and her makeup neat. she could've been a politician, yet her she was, about interrogate hadley morton. hadley had never seen her before, but she had the appearance of a villain from bbc's sherlock. hadley could do nothing but watch as the women sat down with poise and grace, all the while clearly and silently stating that she had all of the power. it was not an ideal situation.

"so miss morton. we can do this the easy way or the hard way. your choice." the women started, her grungy familiar voice filling the entire room. she had been the one in the white dimension. hadley looked up at this women, hatred filling her eyes. this women had taken her. this women had tortured her. this women- hadley spit in the women's face.

the women wiped the saliva off her face, but showed no change in expression.
"the hard way it is then." she said calmly, beginning to rise from the table. "listen hadley-can i call you hadley-, i didn't want to do this, i really didn't. you're such a sweet girl but you keep resisting. and you've left me no choice." the women moved up one of her sleeves to reveal a futuristic watch. the women moved her boney hand to the device and touched the screen, her eyes moving from the small device to hadley.

the brunette, through her exhaustion, waited for something to happen. for a door to open or for something to drop from the ceiling. for a couple second, nothing appeared, and then the pain hit. it was in her head, a pain unlike anything they'd done to her before. it screamed. her entire mind screamed. it felt like nails were being inserted into her brain. hadley screamed. like a siren she screamed, although, unlike a siren, her scream hd no power. the women in the blazer watched, emotionless, as her prisoner her rilled in agony. then it stopped. the sweet release. the grungy voice suddenly returned.

"now miss morton. answer a couple of simple questions for me. who is daniel summers?"

hadley lifted her head enough to see the blank eyes of the women. "go to hell." she muttered through half gritted teeth, the pain still sinking away. "what was that miss morton?" the grunge voice asked calmly. hadley rose her shaven head completely, "go. to. hell. bitch." she said, clear as day. the women did not like that. the woman sighed, somewhat disappointed. "that's not he answer i'm looking for." she said, and pressed the watch again.

hadley bit down on her tongue, trying not to scream. she bit until she tasted blood, but it did nothing. whatever they had put in brain was no stranger to the human pain ideal. hadley couldn't resist it. she gave them what they wanted. she screamed again, and gave in. the blazer women pressed the watch again after what felt like an hour. "now miss morton, i'm going to ask again: who is daniel summers?" "my boyfriend. he is my boyfriend." "no miss morton. maybe i should ask a different question: what is daniel summers?"

hadley didn't answer, and the pain returned. she felt blood come gushing out of her nose. her head felt like it was splitting open. "he's alien he's alien" she cried, hoping that was good enough. the burning stopped, as blazer lady seemed satisfied. "now. do you know any other "aliens." "i only knew daniel, please, i only knew daniel." haldey replied, exhaustedly. her breaths were deep and empty, as if her body was trying to take in all the air in the room at once.

"that's good miss morton. that is exactly what we wanted. you've done a fantastic job."  quipped blazer woman, with a false tone of mother like proudness. the woman place her watch near her mouth, "alright boys, take subject oh-four back to containment." hadley hing on each one of those words as the door behind her opened. two men in white scrubs unlocked form form the chair and dragged her out of the grey walled hell that was the interrogation room.

they lead her town empty hallways where other white clothed people would awkwardly pass. at first, hadley watched the ground, as each tile moved quickly into and out of her vision. soon she watched the walls that she passed, some even had windows. the trio came to a giant door that appeared like a wall. there was a window to the right, which haldey inadvertently turned her head to. there was a a slab, which a bunch of doctor dressed people were crowded around, their backing blocking her view. suddenly, the doctors moved, and hadley saw the spitting imagine of the word heartbreak. daniel: trapped and strapped down, crowded by people prodding him and taking notes on his reactions to pain. his hair burned red and his silent scream was blocked by the glass. hadley never felt more broken and full of despair, as they dragged her onward.

as the hallways continued, hadley entertained the idea that the daniel she saw was fake, and the ore she thought about, the more plausible it was. it had to have been an illusion, daniel was no where near here. suddenly alarm bells sounded. the ringing echoed down every hallway. hadley was literally about to be at her destination, then the guards dropped her. she heard one of them mumble as they were leaving, "she's too damn weak to try anything, and even if she did, she wouldn't get far." oh how they underestimated her.

hadley didn't know what the distraction that triggered the alarms was but it was a miracle if anything. she stumbled through the hallways, using every instinct she had, until she found the exit she was looking for. she could feel the cool air touch her skin and the rough ground beneath her feet. the adrenaline began pumping through her veins. hadley stood, and ran.

two things:

first one is that that one oneshot would totally be made into a sickass tv show that would probably fill the hole twin peaks left in my heart

and two how dare you
