[table] insurrection, a noun meaning "a violent uprising against an authority". it was started by dj wright, a former military personnel, and a small group of his comrades. it got the name when they decided they were going to track down the members of their military group that had more authority than them and kill them. they took their children and began to train them to be soldiers, before realizing that if they expanded and did this with other groups as well they could have a lot of power, so they did. with over a hundred highly trained members, they are a force to be reckoned with.

[table] [table] | | the territory
The Insurrection’s home base is in an old military fort in a land they refer to as 'no mans land'. It’s 750ft x 450ft, nearly a hundred thousand square feet in area. The walls are nearly twenty feet tall, and there are two entrance points (facing north and south), large gates that are heavy and can be barricaded easily.
The fort has one lookout point which is constructed at the northwest corner of the building. Inside there are many smaller buildings. Just inside of the main gate, which faces north, to the left of the path is a large house, which is where the general’s live on opposite sides of the house.
Connected to the generals’ house, by a small passageway, is a kitchen. The kitchen has a large fireplace as its main-staple with a wood oven to the side. The kitchen is large enough to fit twenty people comfortably to dine, or prep food. There are also two storage rooms off the kitchen, one with food supplies, the other with cutlery and pots and pans.
There is a barracks on the southeast wall, two stories high, with the capacity to fit 200 persons in it, bunks line the walls, and there are chests beside the beds for personal belongings to go into. Each bed is outfitted with a wool blanket, a fitted sheet and loose sheet, and one pillow.
There is an apothecary’s quarters about forty feet from the barracks to the west, room enough for 20 injured or sick persons, as well as mixing medicines, and a sleeping and living quarters for the doctor.
Finally there is a large building in the center of the fort, this is the munitions building. It is always under lock and key, and has a guard around the clock. There is one entrance, and the actual weaponry of the group is below ground in this bunker.
To the south of the fort is a large river which flows east-west. An abandoned train track runs parallel the river between the fort and water.
The fort is surrounded by fields, there are overrun orchards to the west, a large flourishing garden to the north (outside of the main gate), and to the east pastures and grazing lands.
The fort itself is built on a bit of a hill with a good view of everything around.
There is a small rundown village outside of the forth past the orchards, that, while unoccupied, could be used for storage of miscellaneous items.
