character headcannons - HAYLEY - 12-11-2018

so! this is one of my favorite ooc threads because it gives you a chance to explore headcannons for your character that you might not have an excuse to babble about elsewhere. feel free to list yours, comment on others, and all that fun junk!

to start off with hayley:
— definitely prefers coffee over tea, and she takes it black.
— she loves to swim, and not being able to do so is probably the one thing she dislikes about the mountain, but bathes make an okay substitute.
— she's never been in an actual relationship, and she's never had a proper example for one.
— she low key puts an alarming amount of salt in her food, but she loves salty food.
— she's allergic to pollen.
— she wants a dog, but she's worried she'll forget to feed it and it'll starve. similarly, that's her biggest fear regarding motherhood.
— she's secretly self conscious about her height, since she feels like being petite is more attractive then being six feet and a whole lotta legs.
— she pierced her own ears and gave herself her own tattoos, and she's definitely willing to give others if they ask.
— she's a fantastic baker, provided she has the ingredients she needs.
— she's less than fantastic at frying food, however. she always seems to burn herself.

  — six feet tall, hayley possesses a naturally scrawny figure from childhood malnourishment and even as an adult, she rarely gets proper nutrition. she has a mane of brunette hair with natural caramel highlights among the waves, falling halfway down her back, though her hair is typically put into a ponytail or a bun when outdoors, while left down while inside. her skin is a warm, olive tone, and her eyes are an almond shaped hazel. she has pretty, angular features and a charming smile when she chooses to show it.

  — slightly fatigued and overall stressed about her pregnancy, but otherwise healthy.

headcannons? why are we shooting heads out of cannons? :thonk:

— has never been in a committed relationship but he's, not unfamiliar to them? he gets the general concept of them but is ignorant to the little things and that's why you should Never Pursue Tommy DeVito
— reguarly smokes, drinks but not enough to classify him as a fully-fledged alcoholic
— fucking loves attention. if you're not giving him all of your time and energy then wyd?
— honestly? a switch. depends on the other person
— did someone say daddy issues?
— loves dogs but doesn't actually have one himself
— can't handle when his hair is ruined
— raised in a roman catholic family, still believes in god but he's no saint himself
— doesn’t usually initiate hugs. he’ll hug someone back, but he usually does more “guy-hugs” and handshakes and such

and here's some au ones that i have but don't rlly apply to tnw sksksk

— he's been to jail several times. his police record consists of breaking and entering, possession of a forged document, possession of stolen property, and illegal gaming. he used to break into small businesses at night but he eventually got caught
— he always needs money though bc he’s in debt to the mob
— he blew all his money in Vegas
— thankfully he’s friends with a few mobsters so they don’t immediately kill him but he’s this close
— hc that he’s been locked up in east jersey state prison / rahway correctional
— occupation is typically a musician and a worker at his family's pizza shop. once worked at benihana and as a mechanic.
— drives a red 1964 chevrolet impala convertible. likes to fix up vintage cars
— i honestly want to headcanon that he had braces at some point in his childhood and he h ated them
— very lowkey mama's boy
— he eats a shit-ton. besides italian, his food of choice is chinese. bring him chinese and he'll love you forever
— tbfh is a shitty texter. he'll fluctuate between caps and no caps. he'll use a ton of exclamation points and response times will vary. he'll catch you back in an hour. maybe a day and a half. who knows?
— likes rock 'n roll, specifically anything 50s-70s
— his snapchats consists of selfies and slap-cams. and he'll snapchat he and his buddies doing dumb shit
— he played baseball throughout primary school but got thrown off the team because of Foul Play

— He was technically engaged re: arranged marriage when he was younger to one of his best friends
— Has only actually been in one relationship and broke that off a little less than a year ago
— Has a crush on his friend Torrin but is kinda nervous to be in another relationship
— Collects money. Any money. He loves relics of the past
— Has a really good singing voice but it's too feminine for his liking so only his favorite people ever get to hear it
— Doesn't sleep at night due to really bad nightmares and a fear of the dark. Normally sleeps from around dawn to noon
— Complete mama's boy. In every au in every situation he loves his mother (mostly his adopted mother but he was really close with his birth mother while he still lived with her so)
— Named himself Grayson because gray eyes was the only physical feature that he shared with his adopted mother
— Has a very traditional sense of masculinity and femininity but he's working on it
— Carries around a florecent pink marker everywhere and has drawn on people's faces with it before and will do it again
— Wants to do something great and important with his life that will be remembered for a long time
— Is very awkward when people flirt with him and he generally doesn't like it but he is the flirtiest drunk
— His drink of choice is whiskey
— His ex boyfriend's adopted dad gave him a bottle of whiskey that he still has (just not here in FL)
— He has a pit bull named Brianna and she's a good girl but she'll eat everything
— The idea of turning a gun on another person is god-awful to him but he is also convinced that he'd do it in the right circumstances
— Seriously wants to be a provider and that's part of why he does so much hunting
— Also hunts because it gives him something to do and a purpose
— He's nearsighted but doesn't even know it. If it's far away it makes sense that it's blurry, right?
— There's more honestly I'm just gonna stop for now

and he's in so many aus but the most common he ends up in is high school au and he's just generally happier, healthier and more self-assured in those because Dia is still alive oops

- full name is evangeline, but she hasn't gone by it since mira and calvin were together and alive; nobody alive knows this is her name
- adores icicles and will just lick them. has gotten her tongue stuck a couple of times but shhh
- feels responsible for everyone, even if they're older than her she feels like she has to guide them and is constantly worried about everyone's wellbeing
- workaholic; literally will work herself to the death of you let her
- wants the lodge to be a new family for her, but doesn't know if she trusts family to be functional
- loves kids but would never be pregnant
- needs to take care of others, she can't stand the thought of being taken care of
- literally would only listen to queen if she could
- lowkey gets a huge crush on every girl she meets but also she's the queen of repression so nobody ever finds out
- tells herself that she'd never be able to kill anyone, but in reality she could do it very easily and without too much thought if she really needed to
- tends to alienate herself from groups but she's trying
- thinks labeling yourself is a sham, all she needs to know are your pronouns, nothing else is her business

Ooo i love these
  • Has a huge scar on her ankle from when she wore an ankle bracelet for too long she'll always say it was a freak science expirement accident but shh 
  • Wants a cat more than anything in the world
  • would totally be a shane dawson fan and would believe all of his conspiracies

  • Shes a super good baker, she loves to make pies with hella elegant designs

  • Secretly really into fashion, she likes dressing up but she has no idea how to or when to she'll straight up wear a skimpy dress to brunch and see no problem with it

  • She's pretty tall (5'6 ish)

  • Really enjoys puns and dad jokes
