Ackerly is the ROYAL ADVISOR of who he belives is the rightful king. He is his younger brother, uncle to the prince and princess. He opted to follow his brother and his family than face death.
Ackerly has always been a bit of a coward. He could have been a knight, but decided to pursue a more scholarly, inside-based line of work. Though, his cowardice fared him well as he has accquired much knowledge and became a very high ranking man.
he's very sweet and good with children, but has a sharp tounge to those who disrespect him or his family. a wit battle with this thinking machine is ill advised.
Ackerly is always found with a book or some kind of reading material in hand. He's never written a book, but wishes to once this all dies down. A memoir, perhaps, of their struggles.
His hair is down to his chest and dark brown. He usually keeps the top pulled back. Ackerly isnt much a fan of his own facial hair, but his brother thought the mustache made Ackerly look smarter. It doesnt. His eyes are a hazelly brown green, and his skin is fair. Ackerly stands stockily at 5'7.

APPEARANCE&& adam is a tall, lanky thing. his cheekbones are high and pronounced and his skin is tan and covered in freckles. he's untraditionally handsome, described by his hometown's people as 'odd looking' or 'alien'. his eyelashes and eyebrows are both fair and light and look like they permanently have dust on them. his hair is the color of dirt and his eyes are a bright teal-blue. his lips are thin and his cheeks are rather hallowed. many of the people adam encounters ask if he's sick, and some would guess he was starving if it weren't for his professional-looking wardrobe. he usually wears dress pants with a button-down on school days, sometimes accompanied with a tie. on casual days he wears his regular street clothes - a slovenly tee with cargo shorts.
