Carmen doesn't just live his life, he works it with finesse. It appears that a lot of things come easy to him with his charming demeanor and endearing ways; he likes to believe that he can get away with just about anything and he's not really wrong in thinking so. He is one of the most charismatic people one could ever come across where talking comes easy to him and messing other people's lives up comes easier. He's a guy who not only knows what he wants and how to get it but also knows exactly the right way to go by asking for it. Honestly, he is a bit of a spoilt brat, though, being the middle child of a very prestigious and affluent family, well-known in the city, and so he's definitely a "my way or the highway" kind of guy, never taking "no" for an answer when he wants things to go his way. He can come across as being a very bossy and pushy sort of man, disregarding everybody else's feelings without guilt.

He happens to be quite flirtatious, a total casanova who finds it easy to flirt with anyone and everyone he knows, taking advantage of his attractive looks. He's a real carpe-diem believing person who claims he's only got one life and so wants to live it to the fullest. Being quite vibrant in personality as well as unpredictably spontaneous, he likes to call himself a bit of a social butterfly. He does have quite a bad habit of brushing people off easily as well as generally being way too carefree and immature, his dismissive and nonchalant ways meaning that, honestly, if anyone tried to mess with him, his response would probably be to laugh in the person's face instead of actually face the problem head on. It's not that he doesn't know how to respond, it's just that he simply couldn't give a fuck about what others think.

Often times he plasters on a fake smile to draw people in, and makes them believe that they’re friends. However, he will manipulate people to bend to his will for his own benefit a lot of the time. His personality is very much like a light switch as he knows how to adapt to situations almost instantly to get what's best for himself. It wouldn't be a surprise if he was to seemingly help somebody only to stab them in the back for his own gain, and then feel no remorse in doing so.

He's been known to smoke way too much for his own good but, yet again, he couldn't give a damn, honestly. He enjoys pissing people off with audacious comments and he knows that he is very arrogant, especially when it comes to his smarts. Surprisingly, he is actually a very academically intelligent man who, as a kid, was in all of the advanced classes and skipped a grade in school.

He is sometimes too confident, his spirited and dynamic attitude turning an innocent playful taunt or gesture into disrespectful comments, completely crossing the boundaries in a heartbeat. He is a bit of a wild-card, not the greatest at settling himself down, but honestly, on a rare occasion, he does have moments where he calms down very slightly, just enough to get a genuine heart-to-heart sort of conversation out of him. He does enjoy the idea of being top dog, his forward-going, entertainer-type exterior shining, but sometimes he needs a break from all of that to be thoughtful and reflective, a side of him that he often prefers to keep to himself; but, do those moments ever happen too often? Nope.

Very rarely, though, he does have his moments where he tries his hardest to sit back and reflect. It's always quite difficult to focus due to his ADHD, but there are times where he does want to try be a better person. He knows that he treats people like material objects and he knows that he's got a very extreme extroverted personality, yet sometimes he wishes that he wasn't so intense. He just can't really help it; it's who he is.

Carmen was born into a very prestigious family who had been very well-known in Los Vegas for their affluence and societal power. As a child, he was spoilt terribly, being quite popular at school for the guy to know as he owned everything he wanted from video games to a built-in water slide for their swimming pool, and loved bringing people over to his house whenever he could.

Despite being a bit of an arrogant social butterfly from a young age, he was also pushed very hard in school as he excelled surprisingly well. He learned to read very early on, learned to speak conversational Spanish, was always in the advanced classes and even skipped a grade. Even with music and sport, his parents pushed him to learn to piano, mastering it after playing since the age of four, and made him join the athletics team where he trained to be a long-distance runner.

However, as he grew older, he didn't really turn out to be doing any better than anyone else in his school, despite being the golden student who was felt that he was top dog. Instead, he began to struggle with his identity, wondering constantly if he was a bad person for being so arrogant and condescending to all his school friends. At sixteen, he had a crisis, wondering whether he should push himself harder or throw it all to the wind and stop trying. He chose the latter. Picking up smoking, dressing in a way that his parents definitely didn't approve of as well as hanging out with a group of people he probably should have stayed away from, he was definitely not what his family wanted him to turn into.

Being told that he wasn't good enough to be part of such a prestigious family and viewing himself as the black sheep of the family, Carmen broke down, trying even less at his academics and trying more to sneak into casinos and bars underage with his new friends. Some believed he was the human incarnation of the 'middle-child' syndrome due to being the middle-child of three, but he'd claim that he had just been overworked, too much pressure put on him to be so perfect. And so, at the age of eighteen, he moved into his own flat, growing closer to his friendship group. Ever since then, he hasn't been so close to his family but he tries enjoying his less-than-lavish lifestyle.
