for now we only have a few: male, female, transgendered female, transgendered male, and intersexed.
i wanted to clarify a few things bc this is a preset thing and while we are looking for better ones, we felt this might help at least in the cases of some people who may want to specify that they are trans (i do, personally, for dysphoria-related reasons)
but I want to add that: yes, the language used is not really correct. And yes, 'male' and 'female' do not inherently mean cis unless otherwise specified. in this case, we do not have a way of editing the text of the options. if you're trans and choose to use the plainer 'male' or 'female' then that's perfectly accurate!!!
as to intersex, we realize that being intersex may or may not have anything to do with your gender, depending on the individual. Again, this is a preset mod, and it's far from ideal.

i think there's something up with the coding, however, because it usually says demigirl for me no matter what i pick.

this has been a known bug; unfortunately we're not sure how to fix this as of yet since we're focusing on solving the database and hosting issues, once those are solved we'll have more time on our hands to fix this. its best to put your pronouns or gender in custom title/signature/elsewhere, if ppl seeing demigirl for you makes you uncomfortable/dysphoric
