- their native language is probably something strange and super uncommon? like lativan or frisian or slovenian?
- maybe everyone has their own unique pattern of face/body paint that they kind of decorate to describe who they are? some ideas: ref, ref, ref, ref, ref, ref
- they traditionally do a sort of handfasting instead of marriage?
- names are traditionally from nature? (canary, willow, bracken, stone, etc.)
- most people are trained to be warriors, but maybe there's a character or two who were training to be healers?
- i see them coming from an extremely open, relaxed community regarding love and sex and everything. like sexuality doesn't matter, no one judges single parents, "seperation" is super normal (like, don't be together if you're not happy?), all of that stuff.
- maybe there's a heavy sense of unity of like "everything"? like, all people and animals and everything are connected and interwoven. they call strangers and like even flowers brother/sister. even when they're at war, they still respect the people on the opposing side and won't fight dirty/believe in mercy.
- war is a huge part of their culture too, and it's considered to be a crime worthy of death to harm a healer/healers help everyone regardless of sides
- they also don't believe in captives/captures which could add some drama if the group they join captures someone and the group tries to set them free?
- lots and lots of meditation, because they believe having a strong body but a weak mind is how evil starts, so they really value mental stability. maybe there's a big thing where you always talk about your issues, which leads to them being perceived as rude due to blunt honesty? ("that was rude" or "i think you have deeper problems you're taking out on me")

i'm planning to introduce a character from this into flintlock soon, so if anyone's interested, feel free to hop in on it! ha ha
- really tall (6'3"-ish?)
- dark hair, dark eyes, tan skin
- daughter of someone high in authority, but not a leader? like an important family. they were super ambitious, really wanted her to ascend the ranks and take more power, but she wasn't feeling it.
- kind of a loner but also not? she doesn't talk a ton, but doesn't mind talking, just speaks when she has to.
- she was actually planning on running away but probably wouldn't have gone through with it. tried a few times before, but always ended up coming home and making up an excuse about hunting or being out patrolling or something.
- a healer, was supposed to be focused in reading the stars for the gods but she's low key an atheist? but she doesn't tell anyone. was kind of a navigator, because she can tell directions by the stars and everything.
- her face paint, meant to reflect her job of reading stars

-shy 'weeb' type
- really loves fucking animals
-mom was prob a healer.
- loves to hide and has a soft stutter.
- very kind hearted and timid.
- probably a healer in trainning.
- looks a lot younger and gets teased for.
- pale skinned that burns easily, dark hair and eyes.

i need 2 be more active on here so:
-will be named Kiya, Leotie, or Kaia
-about average height (5"5")
-Half shaved head, dark red hair & tan skin
-history is mostly unknown, just randomly appeared one day and was taken in by an older couple in the tribe and considered their birth child
-quiet, mature, no sense of humor, afraid of being close to other ppl
-face paint
