c': honestly, hunter never knew he could be so scared of someone else besides that one teacher. he never thought that someone could scare him that much and it made things so much worse because that person was jude and they are like brothers (well at the time hunter had feelings for jude). and then jude trying to hurt him more than just that slap like wow. hunter never felt that kind of fear before

alright so here's so quick background info that will be important to the situation: hunter was physically and sexually abused in high school (isk which year) by one of his teachers and jude found out and basically saved him (also a lot of people know but idk about archie and danny). hunter is in love with jude (and jude knows) when this happens. jude is an angry/violent drunk and hunter is a no filter drunk. jarchie is together
alright so they are at a party and there is drinking and both hunter and jude are tipsy or drunk. well, mr no filter hunter says smth bad about archie or jarchie and jude, also drunk, is like pissed off and he slaps hunter and then further tries to beat him up and people hold him back but he def got another punch or two in. archie also like tries to calm jude down but jude yells at him. well someone gets it on video and it gets uploaded to snapchat or smth and everyone knows and now they think that jude is like an abusive person and shit. hunter is fucking terrified of jude.
[spoiler=bonus hunter angst]after this, hunter is so scared of jude. he has never been so scared of someone in his entire life. he moves in with his aunt and uncle who live a ways away and yeah. well he finds himself in an abusive relationship. well, after the incident with jude and all the shit with that teacher and now this new guy, hunter is under the impression that the only people that love him will also hurt him and that he deserves all of the hurt and pain. and then a lot of shit happens and he moves home and tries to reconnect with jude but hunter is still visibly scared of jude and always keeps and arms length distance between them for a while because he's scared.
but hey, then danny comes back and somehow they get together which there is angst but mainly goodness and danny being very considerate of hunter and his boundaries and all that and hunter actually smiles genuinely for the first time in a while
