— came from brazil to ____ when he was the age of five years old with both of his parents and grandmother. they settled in a small home that they shared where he wasn't the only child. not long after, a little sister was produced and two years later, another little brother. his relationship with his family is one that is between something that is both strict and loving. his mother, despite having children, went to school for nursing and his father worked at a factory. as they got older when they were gone, he took care of his siblings and did small chores for his grandmother for money in return.
— ever since he was younger, was very into music and instruments. he couldn't really sing (he was okay), but learned three instruments before he was even ten years old. this included guitar, acoustic and electric, and his favorite, the drums. using his grandmother's money, he hoped to purchase drums and eventually he did. they take up most of the living room and when everyone can stand the sound of drums in their house, he plays them and practices.
— besides music being his first love, so was his high school best friend, lara. it wasn't being "in love" but since the time they were old enough, they decided when they graduate they'd they'd live together with no particular commitment, just with a promise of a shoulder to lean on and he did offer that, though it wasn't long before she was pregnant... and this was before they were even in together. they figured that it'll be fine and while lara's family disowned her basically for going against religion, his family took her in. over the next five years they had yet another to where lara made the ultimate decision to do things on her own with a man in whom she fell in love with. although he was dependent on her, he let her do so and they remain good friends and he remains very close to his son and daughter.
— ultimate dad, the best dad. loves his children with everything he's got
— made sure that his children knew his mother tongue, spanish, and sometimes his son will start speaking it to piss people off and although he has to lecture him, he kinda laughs at that.
— dances like dad at a bbq style.
— also has some kind of pet on his son's behalf im still trying to figure out what kind.
— trying to learn to cook, but sucks at it, so most of the time especially when his son is over they end up sharing appetizers at friday's
