Daryl was petting Shiva’s Head. He glanced over when h spotted Carl. He frowned, glancing at the other cats. He didn’t question it though. Shiva managed to open her eyes. She shifted her gaze to Carl. She didn’t lift her head though.

Shiav managed to let out a quiet purring sound. Daryl sighed, watching them. “I looked her over already. On the outside she didn’t sustain any major injuries. But...I can tell she has some internal damage. Some she may not recover from.†Daryl whispered. “I don’t want to upset you, but...I think we should put her down.†Daryl said

he looked over shiva, and tears formed. "but.. she's only of the only thinks i have left from.." he mumbled, and tears began to fall. "i can't.. i can't lose something else.."

Daryl fell silent and looked down. Shiva flattened her ears a bit. She shifted, managing to sit up. She then stretched out her neck, resting her chin on Carl’s head.

Shiva closed her eyes, keeping close to Carl. She let out a soft purring noise, licking his head. Daryl watched her, rubbing her back. “...Or maybe not. She is a fighter. Perhaps she’ll pull through.†He said
