The nurse said quietly, sighing and smiling, "Well, the authorities said that they've been keeping an eye on your parents, and they're definitely not fit to keep you. They're going to start a search for parents for both of you. But, uhm, two questions. One, would you rather go to a foster care place, or do you have a friend who can take you in for a little while, and... would the two of you like to be looking for parents... together? I got the feeling you didn't want to be seperated." Richie blushed at this, glancing down.

Richie seemed to pale considerably as the nurse said the next part, frowning slightly, "Ah, well then you'll have to go to a foster home for the time being."

He let out a soft noise and began to gently scratch at one of his hands, mumbling softly, "No, w-we won't..." the nurse said, frowning slightly, "I promise the foster home you'll go to will be very nice, boys. And it's right nearby."

Richie made a soft noise, and looked at Eddie as the nurse spoke, sighing softly, "I'm afraid not. I'm not exactly... involved in this process very often."
