Daryl watched him. He gave him a soft squeeze before pulling away. He ruffled his hair. "You'll know Carl." He whispered. He gave his arm a soft squeeze. He frowned, looking over though when he heard some rustling in the bushes.

Daryl glanced around, taking out his crossbow. He frowned. "Carl, stay behind me." Daryl said.

Daryl frowned, glancing over. After a moment, a group of three cougars came out of the bushes. It appeared to be a mother with two cubs. They were a bit older though so they must have stuck together. Daryl eyed them silently. He frowned. The cats hissed and roared, eyeing the group.
After a moment, another roar was heard. Shiva hopped out of the bushes, eyeing the cougars. She pinned her ears back, hissing at them. The cats eyed Shiva carefully. The two cubs moved off to the opposite side of Shiva, eyeing her. Shiva flicked her tail. After a moment, the mother cougar suddenly charged at Shiva. Shiva hissed, suddenly wrestling with the mother. The cubs roared, tackling Shiva as well. Shiva rolled a bit, swatting at the cubs and trying to get the mother off as well. She was strong, but she was outnumbered. The battle could go either way depending on if she wa careful or not.

carl yelled and then shot the biggest cougar, eyes wide.

The cougar hissed, suddenly backing away. The cubs jumped at the gunshot, backing say as well. Shiva took a step forward, roaring at them again. The cats suddenly lowered their heads before turning and running off. Shiva wached them leave before head head suddenly fell and she panted for breath, her chest heaving a bit with each breath.

he hesitated, looking at daryl. "take her back. i can't just let the other one bleed out.." he then sprinted off before he could argue

after a moment, carl soon found you cougar and slowly put his gun away.
