He sighed a bit, holding the other close and saying softly as he comforted the other, "You're okay, Eds. Nothing's gonna happen to you or me or nybody else, okay? You're safe." Richie was best at being comic relief, but he watched his friends carefully, and had known everyone was shaky about things after everything with Pennywise, particularly Eddie.

he whimpered, trembling. "i can hardly shower without panicking.." he whispered. "i can't sleep.. i'm so tired, richie, i just want to sleep.." he said, tears starting to form.

He frowned at Eddie's whimpering and crying, and he wiped at the other's tears, saying softly as he held the other, "It's okay... you can get some sleep..." He shifted to gently lay the other's head in his lap, saying quietly, "I'll protect you..."

He sighed and began to hum softly, his eyes scanning around the room slowly. He hadn't been lying about protecting Eddie, so he wasn't gonna sleep right now.
