He kissed his head softly, looking ahead. They soon arrived at the hotel.
Gladio watched the boys leave before sighing, sitting down on a chair in the room.

Ignis eventually woke up and sighed. "how'd it go?" he mumbled.

Noctis moved over, laying down beside him.
Gladio glanced at Ignis. "...It was fine." He said. He stood up. "You know...I always push him to be the king he's supposed to be. I was forcing him to grow up faster then what he should have. Now that he's finally taking up the role, part of me wishes he could go back to just being a kid." He said.

Noctis held him gently, rubbing his side. He kissed his head.
Gladio nodded. "Yeah...But, despite everything Iggy, he's going to do just fine. He's lucky. You did practically raise him. And, sure Noct may not be the brightest at times. But, I know whatever knowledge he gained from you he'll use to the best of his ability when he's leading the kingdom." He said.

Gladio chuckled softly. "Yeah. But hey, you never know. Maybe him picking up on being stubborn the way he is will help him in the future." He said.
