He blinked, watching him. He was about to say something before looking over when thedoor opened. He spotted Gladio. He glanced at Noct. "Noct, I'm sorry to interrupt. But, you have a visitor who wants to speak with you." He said. Noctis frowned.
"Who?" He asked.
"It's the leader of Neflheim." He said. Noctis frowned. Their leader was the one who started this war and allowed Ardyn to rise to power the way he did. And now at their weakest state he wants to meet with him? Noct wasn't sure if this was just a test of his strength as king or what.
Noct looked down, staying silent for a momemt. He had t even had any time to settle down and even comprehend his role as king yet. However, he gave a faint nod. "Alright." Noctis said, getting to his feet.

He blinked, looking down at Ignis. He used his free hand, setting it on Ignis's hand. "...Ignis, I understand you're doing this to protect me. But a king does not turn away others, no matter what crimes they've committed. He he's come to talk, so be it. This is my duty now, Ignis." He said. He glanced at Gladio. "Gladio, stay here and watch him." Noctis said. He then pried his wrist out of his grip, leaving the room.
Gladio watched him leave before moving into the room, watching Ignis.
