honestly thomas and teresa were much better in the book, the movies fucked up their plotline aka taking out their telepathy
newt deserved better than what the books gave him tbh i felt so bad for him i just hope the new movie doesn't fuck up newt's arch too much

[spoiler=ranting]do you ever get the feeling that no matter what people say (specifically that they don't think you're annoying) that they are lying to spare your feelings and you don't want to bring it up because you don't want to offend them and you don't want to do that because you don't want to make them feel bad because they are already going through shit. so really i'm stuck in the dilemma of being in the group chat and occasionally saying things but not always getting responses or one word responses but then everyone else talking and getting actual good responses and maybe i'm reading too much into it idk because i also don't want things to get weird if i just straight up leave the group chat without a word [/spoiler]

i hate that i crave validation from others and that i don't believe other people when they compliment me or reassure me or whatever. i want the validation but when given it i laugh and say that's not true because my deep seeded issues won't let me believe that just for a moment one of those things could be true
