i picture eden walking in, seeing finn like this against the bedroom wall. finn's sister is at a friend's house. finn came home early from classes because he felt like he was about to have a panic attack. he had been sober 7 months and that's the longest he's been sober. it doesn't seem long but he's proud of himself. but the stress from night classes and work at the same time just getting to him again and he doesnt even think he's so desperate he drinks he gets drunk and now he's against the wall on the floor crying because now the GUILT and REGRET is hitting him bc he just fucking broke his promise to eden and his sister he would get better that he wouldnt fall back on the alcohol to solve his problems- that he'd find some other way to get rid of his problems/rants/issues like keeping a journal or smth. but that night he just needed smth that would make him forget quickly and painlessly.
and hes just trying to stand up and get out of the house stubmlig his voice slurred like "im going to stay- im going to stay somewhere else i dont want you to see me like this again. please, just let me go. i'll get an uber."
