John stared at him. Something flashed in his eyes but he quickly pushed it away. He nodded. “Thank you.†He murmured. He glanced over, spotting Lestrade and Mycroft coming back.

John blinked. “Thanks.†He said, taking a glass. Lestrade glanced at John.
“So...You’re finally getting hitched huh? I take it I’m not going to see you at crime scenes with Sherlock anymore?†Greg asked. John blinked, looking down.
“Well, I mean I’d like to. But you know. Marriage does change things.†John said.

John smiked, taking a sip from his drink as well. Greg and Mycroft shared a look before glancing at John. Lestrade could tell how Sherlock felt about John. He wanted to just outright tell the other how Sherlock felt, but he knew that was probably crossing the line so he kept quiet
