so obviously alfie isn't the only shapeshifter and unbeknownst to him there is another that is relatively close to him (a friend duh) and this friend starts causing problems but in different shifted forms and it's obviously not alfie because he doesn't really know how to use his abilities at will (his hair changes colour based on emotions okay? he can't control it) and a hunter comes to town because word of a shapeshifter causing problems gets around and of course, alfie's "friend" leaves town just as this hunter shows up and now that hunter is under the false impression that alfie is the shapeshifer causing the problem and alfie doesn't know this and meets the hunter or whatever and like a week later this hunter has got him like chained up and torturing him, probs gonna kill him, and alfie just doesn't know what to do and has thinks he's gonna die and perhaps that's for the best cuz his siblings won't have to deal with him anymore and zeke deserves someone better yeah and like idk

zeke knows there's another hunter cuz every hunter knows each other but he was still uneasy and tried to make sure alfie laid low. and he also knew there was a shifter but he knew it couldnt have been alfie. he was also trying to figure this shit out.
but yo he realizes one day alfie isnt home and he's freaking the fuck out and close to having an anxiety attack and calls the hunter and is like "you... you dont happen to have a shapeshifter with you? where are you" and he's trying to keep calm but his voice cracks a bit but the guy doesnt notice
sO HE GETS THERE AS FAST AS HE CAN OKAY TO GET ALFIE [i]ZEKE WILL NOT LET ANYTHING HAPPEN TO HIS LOVE
