[spoiler=ideas]okay so like my one main idea was if lights is a school guidance counsellor, maybe demi's caseworker makes her go see him once a week or whatever and she does and she's sassy and rude but lights is patient and some type of bond and demi's foster parents at the time say they can't take care of her anymore and her caseworker suggests to lights that he take her cuz he's the only person she doesn't seem to completely hate
idea for their relationship further is still very much she's sarcastic and rude and doesn't give a shit but she slowly kinda becomes less so because her comments don't get a rise out of him like it does with most adults. and imagine him finding the leather jacket with the gang symbol on it but not knowing what it means
